Demon Souls, heard of it?

I am planning on acquiring it and I was wondering if someone have tested it and if it is worth it. Your help is much appreciated. I only know the game is meant for you to die really often because of the exagerated difficulty.

Heard nothing but good things, but it is a very challenging game I'm told. If you like challenge and action RPG's, go for it.

Incidentally, one of my online friends who's a fan of masochistic games picked it up and loving it. He's a Ninja Gaiden vet and beat all of the games numerously on Master Ninja.. so.. prepare for challenge.
 
Thanks Umon for taking the time to reply :). I am kind of nostalgic to play again a very challenging game, like in the old times. I'll go for it!
