Defeating Tanya in Edenia

Hello all! Another first time member, long time reader here.

Everything was going well in Konquest, man does time fly while playing that, but now I have to defeat Tanya to save Sindel in Edenia. She's kicking my ass and I must've tried 20 times already and no luck. The thing that sucks is that this is the first time Shujinko isn't copying other fighters so I have no special moves.

Any tips for defeating Tanya? I looked all over the board and had no luck in finding anything. I must really suck then haha. :)
 
I'll take payment in an Online Adapter for the PS2 since the one I'm using is just on loan :P

I was gonna mention to use your weapon... it helped me greatly when i had the same problems... i just plain forgot that i had a weapon, and could do more damage that way. :wink:
 
I should say thanks guys. Because of you, I was finally able to beat Konquest and I now have all the "known" characters. This TRMK forum is so swell!
 
i beat her , now i get her twice....once in front by rain, and the other one is in the tent. If you talk to her in the tent she tells you to go get rain and dont tell him about the ambush.

Im stuck on trying to beat Tonya also, for the last 3 days. Going to try to learn that combo in the other post and hopefully beat her. Yeah, Konquest was going good untill now. huh.
 
Well, I finally got past Tonya, wasn't easy. Now I'm stuck on Scorpion in the Nexus, maybe a few more hundred tries and I can get him too.
