I have Mortal Kombat Armageddon for ps2 but im playing it on the ps3 and it will let me play the game but will not let me save anything. It says i need a memory card for the ps2. Is there a way so that i can get it to save onto the hard drive like other ps2 and ps1 games i have for it. Thanks

I really doubt you can save your MKA PS2 game in the PS3. Why?? The makers of mortal kombat have made a special lock for the game. Basically, you can't copy or transfer it. I am sorry dude.

I am sure you can play online though, as I have played MKA online on my PS3.

BTW, there is a device in the market that will let you transfer your PS2 saves to your PS3. However, that won't work with MKD or MKA. Sorry.

Surely you should be able to create a save game on the PS3? this is one to search Google for I think.

I haven't tried this before, but you may need to use a PS2 Memory Card with the PS2->PS3 Memory Card adapter. I can give it a shot later on, since I got MKA for the PS2 now.

Ive transfered my PS2 saves for MKD and MKA and transfered them to my PS3, and it worked just fine, everyone is still unlocked and everything. I believe it even allowed me to save new coins that I had won. This was of course all done by the Adapter Patrick mentioned.

Something I noticed thats a little off topic but the adventure mode in MKA, plays too fast on my PS3. Anyone else notice this?
