"I was an ordinary boy, who had an ordinary life. But one day, Earthrealm was invaded, and monstrous beings with four legs came to sack the town where I lived, in the name of someone named Shao Kahn. They killed all my family, and disappeared. Claiming vengeance, I travelled through the world in search of them, and I finished up infiltrating a sectarian order established in Great Britain by Shao Kahns Earthrealm fanatics wanting to favour a new invasion by his troups. I stayed with them, waiting for the day I could approach Kahn and kill him. One day came my chance : Edenia, an other realm, once invaded by Outworld, declared war to Shao Kahn, and my guild was sent in back-up. Whereas we crossed a desert, we were attacked by Edenian troups. All my guild was decimated, and during the battle, I felt the ground to give way beneath me, and I fell in a sort of temple buried under the sable. Locked in a sort of library, I started by consulting the books. I learned some fighting technics which transformed me into an “Avatar”, a master of the 4 elements : water, air, fire and earth. These knowledges altered considerably my physical appearance.
By studying, I finished up discovering a strange book, the original Book of Destiny. This magical book, of which the pages write alone, was lost by the Elder Gods a long time ago, and relates all the important events of the existence of the realms, from their creation until today. By flipping through, I discovered a terrifying thing : Shao Kahn was just a pawn, manipulated by a destructive power. Shang Tsung’s domination in Mortal Kombat tournament, Shao Kahn’s treachery, Earthrealm invasion by his troups, the war against Shinnok, Deadly Alliance’s advent, Onaga’s resurrection or even, Daegon’s prematured wake up, all these dramatics events were just pieces of a gigantic puzzle, orchestrated by an evil force : the One Being.
The One Being existed before the creation of the realms, in the same time than theElder Gods. One day, he wanted to devour them. The Elder Gods, to defend themselves, conceived the kamidogus, and dislocated the One Being bodily envelope, creating then the realms. But a minus part of the One Being consciousness remained, ang began to manipulate the harmfulst beings of each realms, in order to reconstitute itself, putting an end to the existence of the realms.
Now, his goal is to create Armageddon : by gathering a big number of powerful Kombattants in a same place, the One Being hope to create a chain reaction that will destroy the realms. By reading the last paragraph of the Book of Destiny, I know the identity of the warrior actually manipulated by the One Being. If I can go to the pyramid, which would soon emerge, like described in the Sorceress Delia’s vision, I could kill this warrior, destroying for good any trace of the One Being, and putting an end to this madness.
I finished by gaining enough power to flee up of my prison of stone and sand, but I must hurry, cause every minute brings us closer of the destruction of the realms!!"
Ending :
"During the battle for the survival of the realms, Caleb attacked the warrior manipulated by the One Being. It was Raiden, whose the essence was corrupted during his resurrection on Earth, after the failure of his sacrifice against Onaga.
Raiden launched Liu Kang reanimated body against Caleb, but his thirst of vengeance permitted him to destroy them all.
The quest was finally a success, and the Elder Gods learned then the truth, and named Caleb as thein new Champion."
The ending was more elaborate, but I didn't have enough space.
