ARE fataliy HARD TO PULL OFF!? XBOX!

hello all iam finding fataliy are hard to pull off with the xbox controller are any of you finding these to be the same for you???

any tips for pulling off the finshing moves like how to press the button codes in fast,tap ect.

for me sub-zeros finshing moves are hard for me.
btw if i go into fataliy mode will i have to have the right distance?

Well - this MK is position sensitive to fatality imput. The character applying the fatality has to be in either:

1) Close (which is basically right next to opponent)
2) Sweep (This is a few, maybe 3, steps away from the opponent).
3) Distant (Far away from opponent).

I've noticed the game is very sensitive to the positions. So if the fatality requires "sweep" distance, than you HAVE to be in the exact spot. Being slightly infront or behind doesn't work. Same for distant fatalities.

Practice your positioning and you will pull them off more frequently.

As for button input. Just make sure you tap the buttons CLEARLY. Don't rush it and keep your hand on the d-pad the whole time - lift your fingers up off it after every input. You don't have to do it super speed ... fast, but not lightning quick.

I was having trouble getting them off at first, and still have to get the exact positioning off as sometimes mine fail, but just practice in versus mode and you will get the hang of it.

Lot harder to pull them off here than in MKA though. Much harder.

Yeah. There are some FAQs out there that list everyones Fatalities and distance required. Heres a good one that tells them all AND some.

When you go into fatality stance, make sure you are at the distance it says (sweep, distant, close). Just takes some getting used to for the exact measurements.

The fatalities that require you to be close are the ones I cant do lol I always end up hitting instead ....most faqs that I seen claim you can hold block. Fatalites I cannot do no matter how hard I try ermac 2nd hotaru 2nd either one of shujinkos liu kangs second scorpions head rip will not work noob smokes 2nd kobras 2nd either of tanyas raidens 2nd

Yes, unlike MKDA where you could stand anywhere and the fatality worked... this time around... you need to be the correct distance from your opponent when executing the moves.
