anyone notice the game saving during ladder?

so yeah i noticed that the small dragon logo meaning it's saving randomly pops up sometimess when im climbing up the arcade ladder. i doubt it has anything to do with stats since it occurs randomly and doesnt appear when i finish the ladder? could it be some sort of cue for something hidden ? or am i thinking too much xD what are your thoughts ?

It's probably documenting wins, xrays, and fatalities, as well as time played with the character.

I figured it was just adding the koins you earned to your total so if you quit the ladder you still keep what you earned

You are thinking WAY too much... its simply saving stats as you go along

yeah but it doesnt save after every match that's what made me think
