Anyone looking foward to Dynasty Warriors 7?

Ive been contemplating whether to get this game or not, but my inner dynasty/samurai warrior has given in to the pleasure of mindless hacking and slashing. Anyone else a big fan of the series or planning on picking up a copy of the latest installment?
 
YES!!! Ive been playing the game since DW2 came out, owned every title since. Just traded in DW6 though, got bored of it and wanted a new game.

Lu Bu FTW!
 
Idk Dynasty Warriors was always pretty fun at parties. Especially with people who have no idea how to play...like me... I don't think I could play it sitting by myself at home though. Same thing with MVC3.

Suprisingly, the only DW I ever played was Dw Strikeforce, and it was actually Samurai Warriors that got me into the series...funny how theyre like on DW7 and yet there's only a SW3 up till now :P

MVC3 is deffa two player game, but just about any DW/SW game, I totally play on my own time since like none of my friends are fans...the series is also where I learned a ton of Chinese and Japanese history ;)

I hate the offshoots, theyre too strategic for me lol. DW2 was one of the launch titles for PS2, Samurai Warriors came out a year before DW5 did lol.
 
Looking forward to it, but im not as psyched for it as i am MK9 or Arkham City. I really wished they would bring back the chakrams for Sun Shang Xiang, or at least give them to a different character, those were awesome weapons. I get that Sun Shang Xiang was an archer or whatever, but its not like the game is known for being historically accurate lol

Dude, your comparing this to MK!?!?!? OF COURSE MK OWNS!!!!! XD But Sun Shang Xiang does have her chakrams back in this game...check it out:

i realy cant wait to see what they have changed on the DW4 and 5 costumes, this is the only DLC i want , besides Japanese voices, quan sounds amazing in japanese as does Sima Zhao

THANKS GuanxYu! I am so happy Lu Bu has his halberd again and that they went back to the old system. The stupid Renbu crap pissed me off last game.
