how about this a couple games ahead the tournament is brought back to its shaolin roots and its a game where you build up a character and your trained by various mk characters from which realm you select to be from to compete as a new generation to represent whatever realm you decide to represent.

It's an interesting idea but i don't think they'll ever do it cause it would conflict with the ongoing creation of official characters (theres only so many variations of the mk style character u can have), but it definetely has some online potential. So i'd love to see a game like that but I don't think we ever will

I might get attacked for this, but I think they should start a new game with all new characters. Or go back to an earlier time like when Jarrod was ruling.
