A question and a parallel MK game idea.

Okay the question is, When Raiden sent the message to his past, did he just sent the message to the Raiden in a parallel universe, or did he reversed the time for the entire universe(s)?

If he just sent the message to the Raiden in a parallel universe, then it means the invincible Shao Kahn is alive in the original universe. So they can make a game in the original universe. Well, what do you think?
 
It is parallel universe 101. The future Raiden send the massage to the past Raiden, but, in the moment that the past Raiden receives the message, the timeline breaks and generate another one. As the result we have the original timeline (with Ubber Shao kahn), and the new timeline (mk9) existing at the same time.

I think netherrealm studios will never use again the original timeline, unless in a tie-in like shaolin Monks 2...

That case is just time travel, not parallel universes.

In time travel the history is just re-wrighten
