4-GIG mandatory install for PS3

Their probably saying then that there is the option to install the game from the options menu which i will do. A lot of games have done this like Dynasty Warriors and a few other games I've played on PS3 that have definitely made a big difference in the load times.

Just checked and there is no option in the game to install it.

Loadtimes are the same as in the demo. It loads really quick. I don't think shaving 1 second off of loadtimes justifies a 4 gig install anyway.

Even if there was an option to do so, this doesn't make it mandatory.

Just like the cake, the install is a lie.

*Edit* Took a pic of MK's install data. I don't understand why websites just blatantly post horse**** without checking the facts. I did and I can officially debunk any crap statements of mandatory installs.

Mandatory install..YES!! very happy about this

Dont know about you but I love installs. The game will be running in peak performance when fighting online. Also you know everyone else has it installed(ps3) and you dont have to wait for the game to start because they didnt install like tekken or soul calibur. I think all fighters should be mandatory. Saves time, quieter consoles, and the best performance. Going to install my 360 version also, should be online about 12:45am see ya online guys

I've been playing the game all day (came a day early for me, I'm in the UK) and the only install was the patch. I think the reason they are saying there is a 4 GB install, is because on the back of the case it says you need a minimum of 4 GB free. Doesn't say anything about installing though.
