Is there a way to unlock more preset for characters other than 1 for each gender?

1. Is there a way to unlock more weapons? I'd like something besides swords/axes. I'd love to get Cage's unlocked for use?

Can you unlock more special attacks to give your fighter? I'd love to get some of the gun based attacks for my guy.
