The <a href="http://www.mkarmageddon.com">Official Mortal Kombat: Armageddon Website</a> has updated the <a href="http://www.mkarmageddon.com/question_mark.html">"question mark" page</a> with a new render. This time it is of the <b>Bell Tower Arena</b> from <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_armageddon/">Mortal Kombat: Armageddon</a>. This stage features gongs and bells that you can bounce your opponents into. It also has a death trap at the bottom that impales your foe, resulting in them being completely amputated after sliding down the spike by other blades. This <b>stage fatality</b> is featured in our <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_armageddon/playmovie.php?video=MKA_Stage_Fatals">MK: Armageddon Stage Fatalities</a> video.

<a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_armageddon/">Mortal Kombat: Armageddon</a> is the last chapter in the current generation of <b>Mortal Kombat</b> games. Featured only on <b>Microsoft Xbox</b> and <b>Sony PlayStation 2</b>, the game will have the largest roster of characters and also feature a new "kart" racing mini-game dubbed <b>Motor Kombat</b>. The game will also appear on the <b>Nintendo Wii</b> in the first quarter of <b>2007</b>.

Thanks <b>big turk 1986</b>.

That would be dam cool if you could hear the bells and gongs ring appropriately. For example, when a projectile hits one, you hear a ring sound that matches the size of the projectile hitting the bell or gong. Also, if a person gets nocked into one of them, you would hear a loud ring matching what they hit and to what extent, like a limb or head.

I'm not so happy with this arena. It looks nothing like the Bell Tower of MK3. In fact, it has more similarity in color scheme and feel to the Kuatan Palace, sans lava.

Oh well, they can't get everything right, can they?
