The stage may be meaningless. The stages have represent 25 years of time. The armor may simply be there in the Netherrealm War and taken by Kotal once he assists Earthrealm in stopping Shinnok.

A part of me wonders if the reason they were reluctant to show off Goro gameplay, is because one of his variations uses the Wrath Hammer.

They're taking a more realistic approach to character design. That's about it. Look at the new stage Crossroads. It doesn't get much more fantasy than traversing Hell. Though I think they're going with more of a dark fantasy look this time around.

It was either gonna be Mavado, or Daegon. And Daegon is not the type who'd show up because Reiko needed him. He'd send Mavado for that.

There needs to be a balance of fantasy and realism. Scorpion in MK9 vs MKX is a good example. I'm not a fan of D'Vorah and Ferra/Torr either though. Thankfully Erron is looking more and more like a playable character.

Frost's primary in the OT was pretty good. But then it was just a rather generic Lin Kuei garb. Slightly Off-Topic, but if Frost were to return, I'd love to see her return as a rehabilitated Special Forces agent. With an angry streak of course.

Sub-Zero is my favorite character gameplay wise (Noob-Saibot story), and I honestly feel if he wasn't such a series icon he really shouldn't be in this game. Scorpion, yes he should. Netherrealm War and all. But IMO Sub-Zero should've stayed dead for this game... but that was never gonna happen...

I do think they should give her P2 a green tint, if not outright green. Not like it'll be confusing for some.
