Thanks for the advice. When you soul steal, do your combos stay the same as Shang without a soul? Or if I Soul Steal into raiden, is it just his special moveis I get?

I play with Raiden. Although, I'd really like to dabble more with Mileena. My second best character isn't even half as good as my Raiden. Still not very good. But, all the same.
