With the sparse room available (the way things look now) wouldn't it be strange to reserve 2 slots for DLC? The fact that Goro wasn't shown last stream does suggest his place isn't set definitely, so I'd be surprised if he shows up in the main roster to mock everyone who didn't pre-order and...

I suspect the ? might be for the unlockable character. So the roster either needs to expand down or scroll sideways to add more kharacters. It's possible but MK has always had all selectable kharacters visible I think. So it's unlikely at best. I fear for Baraka, Fujin, Shang Tsung, Reiko...

With Liu Kang & Jax confirmed the shown roster is about full. Are things looking bleak for other characters? Or is the possibility that the roster is bigger than previously anticipated becoming more and more likely?

So far we've seen 4 variations of Tarkatan warriors, none so far are 100% convincing Baraka is in the game. Nonetheless if the Tarkatans are involved in the game enough to warrant different variations I'm sure Baraka will at least show up during Story Mode. Hoping for more than that though.

I definitely hope so. I think Baraka has something to add to the game. But for an in-fight screenshot the angle seems a bit off? His facial features as well as his left arm are out of proportion? I'm not convinced yet that he's in.

About the mention that one yet to be announced fighter also is a parent: were the talking about Jax or possibly some other kharacter?
