it took me a long while as well, just be persistent and you should get the rhythm of the fight down soon enough.

I have had no issues at all outside of online play. No game skipping during autosaves, etc. I've read about those issues but haven't experienced them and I played it for over 12 hours straight after I picked it up!

I've been having the same problem, try adjusting the difficulty to a lower setting. Here is a trick as well:

Varies fight to fight for me, I'm playing on PSN. One match its unbearably laggy then another it's almost like playing vs offline. If your worried about getting a few losses from it then I would steer clear until you hear about the servers being improved, if your super worried about your wins...

I plan on trying everyone out, except for the fighters in the demo. I've done about all I can with Scorpion & Johnny Cage and since Subby and Mileena don't really fit my style I won't be playing as them much. I'd guess I'll really enjoy using smoke and noob though!

Got the call yesterday and a text today, man I'm pumped for this game. More so than any games in recent memory :)

I wish I had a local gaming community, there was a small LAN center that opened up for a few months but recently got shut down. Gaming just isn't a huge thing in my area unfortunately. I live in a smaller sized town with one very tiny Gamestop and nothing else related to gaming.
