It's awesome to see the 3d era characters get some love on the base roster. I was thinking NRS would lock most of that stuff to DLC. No Cyborgs seems weird to me but maybe they're pulling a MKXL and saving all that for season 2 DLC. I'm just happy to see Kenshi back.

According to all the '' YouTube influencers'' who got to play it at SGF it doesn't play like MK11. Until we get access to the beta/demo there's no way to know for sure.

Well Boon did say that NRS was ''breaking the cycle'' to their previous two year development of MK than Injustice. Maybe this is what he meant.

I remember making a comment about NRS was getting ready to work on Injustice 3 when it was scrapped for MK1. Well that's good news to me because that means Injustice 3 is going to melt faces. The wait is gonna suck if MK1 turns out to be another boring game.

It depends on who you're talking about. Players like Honey bee shill for anything NRS does while other players like Rewind and Scar seem reserved on MK1. I think a lot of the excitement is from the fact that we're finally getting something new from NRS that's not MK11.

After watching the gameplay multiple times, I do like what their doing with mechanics such as bringing back the 3 bar meter system of MK9/X instead of that shitty MK11 self generating garbage. Kenshi looks awesome and fun as hell but I'm not sold on the Kameo assist just yet. It looks gimmicky...

The MK1 trailer is already up on PlayStation's YouTube channel so it seems kinda counter productive and a waste of time to show it again. Unless they're going to show something new.

This whole MK1 hype train is the equivalent of ordering a steak dinner and only getting a dinner roll with a picture of a steak with a we're deeply sorry note on the picture. Until we get some real gameplay there's nothing to really say or get excited about.

MK9 was called Mortal Kombat when it released but no one calls it that lol. I got a feeling this game will be called MK12 when it’s all said and done. Anyway I’m thinking the PlayStation showcase will show gameplay unless NRS are gonna do the couch shit again.
