Started playing MK in summer of 1992 when I was fresh out of middle school. I'e always been a member of "Team MK" and have long preferred it over other fighting games although I've learned to appreciate some of them since then. If you visited my house you'd see old family pictures of me wearing MK t-shirts.. so for example Raiden is in my family portraits!
However, I skipped most of the console only versions having only played some of them like MK 5-7 via emulation.
The other major franchise for me from back then are the id software ones such as Doom. For the longest time I was a Doom\MK player.
