Been having a lot of luck starting my combos with B+3, then trance. You don't even have to hit 3 again for trance, just B+3 then F will begin trance. Works wonders I tell ya!

Offline I have a similar problem when I play versus someone who doesn't have the DLC characters, if I'm signed in and playing and someone signs in after I'm in game, I lose the ability to use any DLC characters. So I have to back out of the game, have us both signed in, then restart. As long as...

You answered your own question there. I love spamming that combo starter, it's easy, effective, and catches people off guard. If they block the first U+4, they forget the next two 80% of the time if they're not great players. I say combo his ass into oblivion until he learns.

Thanks a lot for all the great advice! I will try those tips the next time we meet up. Right now the only thing I seem able to land is the EX grab n punch. I have never tried using B2, 2+1, Ex fireball, will give that a go next time. I know I'll eventually turn the tables on him, just gotta...
