Something strange/bad about the merger is, because of the split, Netflix is not getting Cartoon Network or Turner Classics, but it is getting HBO, HBO Max and TNT Sports. Also, the dolts at Paramount are still considering a hostile takeover.

^So, like, let me guess...Millarworld is going to become a DC imprint...Night School Studios is going to become the new publisher of all of Warner's games...Netherrealm studios are going to put bilboards on their games' stages showing netflix ads...what else?

(from two days ago): Warner is officially up for bids. Between their announcement and that Sony rumour, they had received two bids from Paramount (which has just merged with Skydance, how is this allowed?) Warner's statement: (taken from deadline).

Apparently, the split between Warner and Discovery is going to be made in a way that Discovery inherits most of the debt...and CNN, =P I am also not really sure if Sony is capable of acquiring Warner, because...I seem to recall an old news where Sony spun off a bank...because they couldn't make...

Rumor time: Some people said the guy appointed as the studio head for MK and DC games is a bully to other employees... another rumor says...Sony is interested in buying the Warner part of the forthcoming split; If true, I wonder...will they finance the buyout by selling their spider-man movie...

Warner and Discovery are going to split. Deadline says, Also, someone at /co/ was saying that Atari/Infogrames was in talks with Discovery, to acquire the Atari Games/Midway catalogue from them...can't say if it is true.
