It can't be Rain, since he's a DLC character, and the free klassic costumes are for in game character's only. So it's most likely going to be Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
Maybe later on they'll release a DLC pack with alternate costumes for the DLC characters.

Im impressed by the new klassics. Im a sucker for nostalgia and my favorite MK has to be MK2. I was 8 when MK1 came out and dug it but when I was 10 or 11 MK2 dropped and I lived @ the arcade in my town Play It again(RIP). And it introduced alot of great characters. Anyways Im lovin em everyone know who Id like next UMK3 Ninjas would be rad or MK2 ninjas. Id really like to see MK3 Sub-zero though.

The classic costumes don't bother me, but anyone wanting some news may be interested in this "confirmation" about pack #4...

I am actually happy that they don't have bouncing bewbies. It looks right to me because that is how they looked in MK2. They actually stayed true to the classic design.
One question that I do have in my mind is: Should they change the outfits for the hidden fights like UMK3 Jade to MK2 Jade, MK1 Smoke to MK2 Smoke, and MK1 Noob Saibot to MK2 Noob Saibot? So that it would now look "right"? =D Just a thought.

While I didn't necessarily want another Kitana and Jade costume and would have preferred costumes for characters that don't have any DLC yet, I was planning on buying Rain regardless, so it's not a huge deal.
The problem I'm going to have is trying to play Rain online... If people don't have plans to buy Rain and don't want the Kitana and Jade costumes, well, I'm screwed if I try to use Rain online.
IMO, if NRS wants to persuade people to get the free DLC, which is why I assume they attached the free costumes to the compatibility packs, I don't know if Kitana/Jade MK2 is the best choice... Some people seem to like it, but others seem to really be against it. I don't recall seeing any backlash on the previous costume sets.
Another negative I see is the fact that now, people are wanting Mileena to get this costume as well... assuming they do give her a MK2 (and I don't see why they wouldn't) Mileena would then have 5 (FIVE) costumes, when a good chunk of the cast has 2 (or less, in the cases of Cyber SubZero, Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain and the 4th DLC character).
I understand some people think that the "ninjas" should get priority... But, the other characters are just as much a part of the game as the ninjas are... How many people would have bought this game if the only characters it had were the "ninja" characters?

The way I look at it is OF COURSE Ninja swaps are gonna be the freebies, they are less work = more use. One model (male or female) nets them about 3-6 skins each. IIf they were to put effort towards say MK1 Cage, its one time use only. They aren't gonna give out the costumes that require alot of time/effort for one time use as freebies, not gonna happen.
So I just fail to see why anyones surprised this wasn't a ninja palette swap, hell I figured this was gonna be either MK2 ninja chicks (mentioned in the demos files) or UMK3 ninjas.

Finally someone understands. As long as their are people that say "it's free who cares, quite complaining" than NRS will continue to do this. And again for all those that say "OMG OMG YOU DONT HAVE TO DOWNLOAD IT", if you have the season pass you do have to download it, we actually pre paid for this crap

That's too bad, I still would rather have those skins for Reptile and Ermac before Scorpion and Sub-Zero tho.

Actually, you did NOT pre-pay FREE CONTENT. THIS IS ALL FREE. YOU PAYED FOR RAIN, NOT THE COSTUMES, THE COSTUMES ARE A PERK.

We are more than likely going to have to pay for a pack of other people's classics; As others have said, if they create one Ninja Classic, they can swap colors a couple of times and get other costumes.

thats true i would still buy them i just dont want them to waste the free outfits deal on the same characters that already have the klassic outfits

1. If you're whining because they aren't your favorite character, stop being selfish. I don't main MK2 Smoke or Noob but I didn't whine about them. It's unbelievable that the next sentence after complaining about so many ninja costumes being released, people still say things like this:
