Hacker confirms the 2 other DLC kharacters

Is'nt it obvious that we'll be getting Rain as DLC? He even makes a cameo appearance from the leaked Screen shots. A character of his popularity will return eventually so why not in dLC form to get extra cash from Fans?
 
I honestly don't find this surprising. Whether the source is reliable or not doesn't really matter.

Rain was expected because of his popularity.

What screen shot shows the Rain cameo? I haven't seen it...
 
It's in one of the spoilers Topics here... It shows Rain looking on from a distance. He looks like his Armageddon look however... Aparantly they changed it so that it was what he was supposed to look like when he first appeared.

Yeah, he makes a cameo appearance, but cameo doesn't automatically mean DLC. I doubt that we will be getting Frost, Daegon, Bo Rai Cho, etc. Nonetheless, you are right... Rain was expected anyways.
 
Though there's this rumour of him being DLC... If there were DLC characters they would be based on popularity. Such as Kenshi gettingin because he's one of the best things the later MKs introduced. Lady in Red is the new character they hinted at since they started releasing info about MK9 and many fans wanted a new character anyway.

Though why one that looks just like Kitana, but red, I will never know...

You're exactly right. DLC would be based on popularity because popularity means more people buying which means more money.

As far as the "Lady in Red", design wise... I have no idea either, but if the way she plays into the story is how I'm thinking it will be, story wise she will be solid.
 
I'm expecting Shinnok to have some real annoying rooting abilities where skeletons grab your legs and hold you in place as he closes the distance.

That would get irritating really fast. Especially since blocking that would be rather difficult since most people don't hold down and block when there opponent is far away.

I think that would be a good move yeah itd be annoying but arent boss characters suppose to be annoying lol and cheap dirty fighters
 
Yes, who ever said Shinnok is expected is correct. Also, Rain would be probably be in as DLC because 1) he was a character in MKT and 2) fans have been whining and demanding to be in the game. (Same thing I did when I wasn't sure Jade wasn't going to make it in the roster.)

Why would u want them to do that. The more kharacters they give us for DLC the better. Whether you buy them or not is your choice, I know I'll be buying all of them cuz this game looks awesome and every kharacters look awesome to play with

Well technically Shinnok would be a boss of the next since the next game could be telling the events of MK4 -MK7 I dont know for sure but thats what id place my money on with him being a boss for the MK4 segment at least. Not saying any of this will happen but it could...

Even if this is someone trolling it still is going to probably happen. I don't want ANY more DLC characters passed Shinnok, Rain, Skarlett, and Kenshi though. Maybe Tanya, but that's cutting it..... I don't want a 50 character roster. They need to draw the line.
Plus, all the other post MK3 characters sucked on my ass.
 
If the DLC character sell like hotcakes than you can expect Boon to keep milking that cash cow.
