Demo looks great so far. The only thing i do not like is the announcer voice. Was better and "darker" in the older MK´s. Btw, do you think you can pop up the move list during an online match in the full game, to watch moves/fatalities?
 
Has anybody experanced a graphic glitch yet? I had one with Scorpion Vs Cage in the Living Forest. There was a huge line drawn from each of the fighters bodies going up into the air and even had it when Scorpion did his winning pose. I'm not too worried about it, b/c I know that it is a early build of the game, and it should be fixed by April 19th. Just curious if anybody else had this happen to them.

YES! I had that too.

But that stuff doesnt worry me, even if its in the final build they can do updates

Yeah i saw the same thing i think it was a glitch from throwing his spear a black line remained for the rest of the match
 
not a fan of the sound in the demo...also the announcer/commentary sucks...hopefully gets fixed..also why is the music so low?

anyone notice king of the hill will be on the ps3...i thought that was an xbox exclusive mode...but than...there isnt anything exclusive to the xbox for this game.

i mentioned earlier that the blood/gore levels seem a bit low and im sticking by that...most of this demo looks like an early build from last year...

awesome how cage can finally punch a broad in her vag lol....dont like that sub zero doesnt have the double ice backfire...

game seems a bit slower than i thought...

stage fatality for the living forest does not work in the demo but can be seen in the ending movie...also a shang tsung morph !

have gotten toasty twice now...nothing special to get him...just uppercuts....oddly both times with cage

ive tried this game from beginner to expert and yeah the difficulty levels need to be upped otherwise its a wrap....on beginner they just stand there and even on expert its like fighting on normal on mk2 ( for me at least )

as far as the pit fatality goes...its cool up until i see the oversized liver or whatever organ is on top of the spike than it just looks ridiculous...i wish they left the pit 2 as pure concrete...

cant really hate on what looks to be an early stage demo and im sure some of my gripes have been since corrected (hopefully) but even the character models look outdated...

i hope the characters have more than one opening line

again...its a decent demo nothing special..good tide over until the main course, wont keep me occupied for a month...after playing for a few hours already im pretty much spent on it...only so much can be done with so little...doesnt mean i wont give it a go ever again but there really isnt much there to keep me satisfied now that ive tried everything there is to do...

i cannot believe how great even the demo is !

i so cannot wait for the full release, i would have been on here sooner but was busy playing :)

how do we do the X-Ray ? i got it several times but didn't know how to activate it.

anyone know ? Tell Me ! Please and Thanks you
 
Just noticed 2 things in the demo:

1) If you get the first attack, your special bar at the bottom automatically goes up by one to level 2, so you can quickly do a combo breaker.

2) They tell you which stages have stage fatalities with a red skull icon on the bottom of the stage name. I found this out while playing with my brother on Vs. (Which is the only way you can see on the demo). The Living Forest didn't have one, so it looks like there isn't one for it on the demo.

You hit L2 and R2 at the same time.

Just hold L2 and R2 together to trigger a Xray attack but it can be blocked or you can miss. Best if you use it in a combo

Very interesting!
That's why Mileena performs two Enhanced Specials right in the beginning of the match in one of the latest Gamespot gameplay videos.
 
I hate the announcer.

Anyways, it's not bad, but I do find it to be a bit slow....I like the quickness of the Marvel vs Capcom/etc. games.....I am also heavily disappointed that Raiden wasn't included in the demo. Johnny Cage looks like a douchebag as well.

Scorpion, on the other hand, is TITS. I was fighting Sub-Zero (who's freeze looks awesome, btw) and when Sub-Zero jumped, I did Scorpion's spear and pulled him down, it was ORGASMIC.

to be fair, no I don't...but all the ones I've played in recent years have set the bar pretty high for me...I'm sure it's still fun, but I was hoping for a little more...

in any case, you all sound like you're too hyped at the moment to listen to reason anyway...

Surely its faster than MK vs. DC though? If it is, then I shall be okay. And its good to know that my boy scorpion is gonna be fun to use, thanks Jade! BTW, I hate the announcer too, why the **** does he have to say each quote in different tones? KEEP IT ONE TONE NRS!!!
