According to
Aussie-Nintendo.com,
Midway is slightly delaying
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for the
Nintendo Wii in the
Australian territory. Instead of a
mid-May release, the local
Australian distributor,
Red Ant is now setting the release date for
June 14th in
Australia.
Australian Wii owners waiting patiently for Midway's Mortal Kombat Armageddon will have to hang out just a little longer, as the title's now been pushed back from its previously scheduled release date in early May until the 14th of June.
Red Ant, Armageddon's local distributor, cited no reason for the delay, which appears unusual given the game is merely a reworking of the original which launched on PlayStation 2 (and Xbox in North America) last year.
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for the
Nintendo Wii is still on track for a
mid-May release in all other territories.
