Does sound to be on drugs.
Well, you're on XBL right? You can get a much better version on there for a cheaper price.

highwaytothelost I believe he's talking about Ultimate Mortal Kombat DSjust take a look up above the post you should see what thread it's being posted in

If you want the broken non-arcade accurate versions or just a quick fast fix of UMK3 then yeah ^ the Sega or SNES versions are good then for that purpose, but otherwise if you want to compete and really experience UMK3 since the arcade ports are out now for DS, 360 and MAME you're better off playing those versions honestly since they are the arcade port.

The wavenet version some people also like, but to me that's BS because Noob was never a playable character in UMK3.

I used to have mame, but the damn thing kept giving me ROM corrupt bs...so I said screw it and have the DS version, in the future I will get the 360 version too

Whatcha mean Noob was never playable? He was in both Genesis and SNES versions. As was Rain. I hate competitive play anyhow and I never play to win. I play to have fun and if that's all the "arcade perfect" version is good for then I'll stick to my easy-to-use emulated ones anyday. Besides, my MAME emulated version IS the arcade version. And I can play it online too. I already paid for the game once (and half a dozen more times via rentals). If they released say...Ultimate MK II on a newer system I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat.

Ahh ok, I got ya. So you play casually. That's fine too.

I was strickly referring to the "arcade ports" not the alternate or home versions say you played more competitively. Alternates being the wavenet where you could play as Noob via Arcade UMK3 mod and home ports are the SNES and Sega versions where they put Rain, Noob in but they were SUPER broken....sadly, as they were even more so in MKT.

That's another story, I'm just speaking from an arcade point of view if you want UMK3 "dead on" then go with MAME version in your case.

I figured you meant from a more competitive level, since this is UMK3 now and it's played online a lot now for all ports I figured you meant "online play strickly" but since you just like to play casually, by all means play whichever version you want man. I was just trying to help you out if you wanted a more "arcade accurate" UMK3 port if you were playing competitively.

BTW, hehe you mean Ultimate MK III, not II:aetsch: I'm just teasing ya you're a cool user to chat with.

Noob was a playable character on the Wavenet cabs, but he was in his Kano swap form.

And the SNES UMK3 port is by far the single worst port of any version of UMK3, along with the port included on the PS2 MK:A SE disc. Poor graphics means missing frames means different pyshics mean terrible port.

Yeah, I remember that vaguely ^ about him "being Kano's shadown" he also had no special moves if I remember correctly.

That version isn't the exact UMK3 obviously since Noob-Kano was playable but yeah, all the home ports of UMK3 are crap compared to the arcade ports, 360, DS, MAME etc

I will say MK2 for SNES rocked though:mrgreen:
