Hmmm non canon much?

I picked Goro because Goro has Johnny cage beat in every category apart from speed and agility.. and even that is questionable due to how damn fast Goro was in MK4.

Does johnny have as much power? No
Does Johnny have more destructive capacity? No
Does Johnny have more stamina? No

In my opinion Goro has him beat.
Non canon stuff isn't going to make me change my vote... I'm not voting who i think is a better character or who is cool.

But Goro broke Johnny Cage's sunglasses and paid for it dearly. That's why I voted Cage.

Well you can do that if you want, it doesn't bother me... all i'm saying is Goro would wasteland Johnny in a fight to the death and then use his skull as a soup bowl.

No?

Then you can't prove that Goro would do that. We did, however, see Cage kick Goro's ass with our own eyes.

Yeah, that was a scavenger kill. Liu Kang would have defeated him regardless if Cage showed up last minute to finish an already beaten Goro.

My memory is kind of faded, but wasn't Johnny actually Shang Tsung? (Absorbing him soul) I can't remember clearly.
 
Well, Goro did lose that fight in the intro by forfeit, since he escaped through the portal after Shang Tsung kreated it...

So that's 3 wins Cage has against Goro.

I don't know, that looked more like a loss on Cage's part by the way he got his ass handed to him. Goro completely countered his shadow kick and punished him. The Outworld fighters only left because the old man Shang Tsung was defeated.

Aside from the movie, which isn't canon to the game series (neither is MKSM I might add) Cage has never really fought Goro. I still think Goro would beat Cage hands down. Goro is a beast that hasn't been defeated for many years until Liu Kang. Didn't he also defeat the Great Kung Lao?
 
Goro would win. He killed the Great Kung Lao and was the ultimate MK champion. If the good guys didn't have to win in the 10th tournament Goro would also destroy Liu Kang.

First off, if Shang Tsung loses, ALL Outworld representatives lose by default, since defeating Shang ends the tournament in favor of Earthrealm right then and there. And Goro quit the fight by escaping. How is that not a forfeit?

Goro didn't "run away" .

He straight up won. Look around him right before he leaves...There is NOBODY standing.
If the announcer was there. he would have been all like "Goro Wins! Flawless Victory!"

I think we're really losing sight of the point here. Goro outmatches Johnny Cage. If they were thrown in to the arena, my money is on the big four armed half dragon.

Goro never got a decisive victory over Cage, though. In fact, it his the other way around. How else to explain Goro's permanently damaged reproductive organs?
