I have. I'm mainly interested in old ps1 games mainly because I didn't have that system as a kid. Don't know why ps1 interests me more than the sega genesis though, I didn't have that console either.

I have a 64, nes, and snes, and still have games for them, but don't really collect for them. I do wish I still had some of the games I had for them. Like the mk games, doom, and plok for the snes. But I guess I don't collect cuz I could just play them online if I wanted to.

Right now I'm trying to get old arcade games, cuz I made an arcade machine outta the ps3 mk1 themed sticks, and ps1 longboxes.

I will buy certain games off psn though. Usually those are square games. They get expensive otherwise.

They are:
1. All Star Slammin' D-Ball (thought it would be like the GBA dodgeball game-mistaken)
2. Apocalypse
3. Diablo
4. Doom-longbox
5. Final Fantasy Anthology
6. Jumping Flash-longbox
7. King's Field-longbox
8. Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero
9. NBA Jam: Tournament Edition-longbox
10. NFL Blitz 2001
11. NFL Gameday-longbox
12. Parappa the Rapper
13. Primal Rage-longbox
14. Rayman-longbox
15. Rogue Trip Vacation 2012
16. Street Fighter: The Movie-longbox--just got it
17. Tony Hawks Pro Skater
18. Twisted Metal-longbox
19. Wayne Gretzky's 3d Hockey '98
20. WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game-longbox
21. WWF In Your House.
22. Resident Evil Director's Cut-working on finding the RE longbox.
23. Resident Evil 2
24. Resident Evil 3
25. Twisted Metal 2-also bought on psn cuz my disc is in crappy condition.
26. Mortal Kombat Trilogy.
27. Lunar: Silver Star Stories

I also wouldn't mind getting some of those old demo discs. I used to have one that had tomb raider, parappa the rapper, and that star wars fighting game. I still have it actually, but it has been moved around so much that its in crappy condition. I didn't own a playstation but for sobe reason I got that disc in the mail. I rented a PlayStation and played the Hell out of it, and the other game I rented, usually twisted Metal 2.

my friend in high school lent me his dreamcast and he actually forgot that i had it. i could have kept it but i gave it back.

theres alot of old games i wish i could find. like i dont mean arcade releases but on the consoles they were released on. like movies keep getting re released so why dont they do that with games? again i dont mean the arcade releases.

I feel you! I really do wish some more of those games be released in PSN and Xbox Live.

I wouldn't necessarily say I "collect", but I've also never gotten rid of any of my games or consoles. I still play Genesis and Saturn regularly. I also have amassed several Genesis consoles and add-ons:

Genesis model 1 ("High Definition Graphics" version)
2 Genesis model 2s
CDX (Genesis and Sega CD combo)
JVC X'Eye (another Genesis and Sega CD combo)
Sega CD model 1 (non-working, front-loading)
Sega CD model 2 (top-loading)
32X

Some favorite games I have legitimate copies of across various platforms:

6-Pak (Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Revenge of Shinobi, Super Hang-On, Columns)
Bare Knuckle (Streets of Rage) II
Earthworm Jim 2
Ecco the Dolphin (CD)
Ecco the Tides of Time (CD and cart versions)
Mega Turrican
MK 1, 2, 3, UMK3, MKT, MKG et al
Nights... into Dreams (with analog pad)
Panzer Dragoon I & II
Radiant Silvergun
Robo Aleste
Sonic 1, 2, 3, & Knuckles et al
Sonic CD (US and JP versions)
Street Fighter Alpha 2 & 3
Vectorman 1 & 2

I also have a shit-ton of burned games for the disc-based consoles and flash carts for my Genesis/32X. Everything's running in RGB, or VGA in the Dreamcast's case. Inferior video signals can tongue my ass.

I still feel incomplete for not playing Castlevania: symphony of the night.

You should man. I'm not the biggest castlevania fan, I do enjoy it, but I really enjoyed this one. It's really easy to get now and not nearly as expensive if you get it off of psn or xbox live.

I've been thinking buying some Saturn and 32x stuff. That and a jaguar or maybe a 3do. More interested in the Saturn, 32x, and jaguar. I know very little about the 3do though. I just remember seeing it in gaming mags. They are all part of that same ps1/n64 era that I missed out on. Well the jaguar and 3do were a little before that ps1/n64 era. This was around the time when I was prolly the most into gaming and what was going on in the gaming world.

A lot of good stuff to find on the Saturn, depending on how much cash you're willing to spend (Radiant Silvergun is awesome, but extremely expensive). You'd definitely want to look into an Action Replay 4-1 cart so you can play all the killer Japanese titles that didn't make it overseas, though.

The 32X, not so much, but some find more value in it than I do. I defended that frigging mushroom for a long time, but now that I've played almost everything worth playing on it, I'm pretty over it. Knuckles' Chaotix is cool, Kolibri is interesting, the After Burner and Space Harrier ports are high quality, and the MK2 and Virtua Fighter ports are decent, but that's about it for me.

I still feel incomplete for not playing Castlevania: symphony of the night.

Honestly, I must be the only one that doesn't get what's so great about this game. I played a fair chunk of the way through it and lost interest. The only other Castlevania game I've played is Bloodlines for the Genesis, but I'd still rather play that instead.

Does downloading those games from PSN/XBL really count? They don't give you the exact same feeling as when you play them on the original consoles. I'm still pissed at my dad for throwing my Genesis away, it was still working properly and I had like 25 games, one of them was Gunstar Heroes. I've been thinking of getting a Snes just for Killer Instinct.

The old ps1 games kinda, it diesnt feel too different to me cuz Sony hadn't changed their controller layout. But it isn't the same. But as far as collecting it prolly don't count either. There is nothin finding the game and owning the physical copy. Like if I find a copy of a ps1 game I have off of psn at a good price I'll buy it.

i still have my N64 with

Banjo Kazzoie

Donkey Kong 64

Mario Kart 64

Mario Party

Yoshi's story

thats all we could save, i want star fox 64 soooooooooooooo bad
