The Marvel Studios panel just began in Hall H at the San Diego Comic Con, and president Kevin Feige didn’t waste any time announcing loads of new details. He was preceeded by a video reel that proclaimed “Phase Two Begins Now!” and gave titles to a pair of Marvel sequels, Thor: The Dark World, and Captain America: The Winter Solider.

That Cap sequel title should make a lot of people happy, and tells fans a lot about the storyline of the sequel — pretty much everything we need to know, really. We should see scenes that take place in World War II as we learn the truth about Cap’s sidekick Bucky, and then scenes in the present day in which the seemingly dead soldier is revived as a personality that isn’t exactly friendly to Cap.


In the meantime, Guardians of the Galaxy will be released on August 1 2014. That’s the logo above, and a concept shot of the team is after the break

And forgive me any true Marvel fans for my next statement:
The only person I know on the Guardians of the Galaxy squad is... Rocket Raccoon :rofl:
 
LOL I saw Ant-Man and thought it was an error.
I'm seeing that. I also plan to see Thor, as the first one was a favorite of mine.
 
strangly, I am looking forward to seeing Guardians of the galaxy the most. More so than the sequel movies.
It would be cool seeing Groot and Rocket Raccoon on the big screen.


Dont care for Ant-Man at all, but we all know its meant to introduce him so he can be included in avengers 2

Ant-Man sucks balls, nothing about him is even remotely cool. Why he is getting his own movie, I will never know.

If he's not cool, then that must explain why I've never heard of him. It's usually the unpopular characters I've never heard of.
 
I know they already tried two times and failed, but I think with Tom Jane they could do a good Punisher movie if written properly.

I was one of the people who never saw the Tom Jane Punisher movie; after seeing it I like it a lot more then War Zone, even though I think both are good.

Yeah, they've been discussing it, but I think the problem right now is that Fox owns the rights if I'm not mistaken, and they have a lot of other projects in mind. I know they offered Ben the DD role again but he declined.

Aw! I wanted a new Elektra movie. But that Wolverine movie I will watch.

I think Tom Janes performance is what really made that 2004 movie. With everything they messed up in that movie Jane wasn't one of them. Warzone felt more like the Punisher, but it still wasn't that good imo.

I wouldn't count on a new Elektra movie any time soon. I'm pretty sure the first one failed commercially and critically.
 
I'm really hoping Thor 2 explores and explains more about Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet.

My favorite villain coming to life better not be messed with, or HamatoYoshi is gonna have to choke a bish.

That's pretty much the same way I feel about both movies. WZ had more of the Punisher atmosphere while Jane had the better character; although hearing Punisher and personality together doesn't fit hand to hand, Jane did a good job of showing more of Frank's character besides just shooting and killing people.

Pretty much lol; I forgot that movie even existed. If anything, Elektra will probably cameo (maybe in the DD reboot whenever that is) but I doubt she'll get a new movie anytime soon.
