UMK3 streamed at a MAJOR East Coast tournament

Luckily, I watched this live but more people should watch this.

Hopefully WB will figure something out with the licensing issues and have UMK3 up on XBL again. For that matter, just pull a Capcom and release all viable titles like MK, MKII and MK4 on XBL and PSN (MKII excluded in that case). MKII remains one of the best selling titles on PSN so there is enough interest in old school MK out there.

Do they allow Cyber Smoke to be played? Between his teleport and autocombo, he's really unbalanced, so it seems like they might ban him.

Don't understand why the commentator mentions fatalities with Human Smoke, either. The shit can be entered in less than a second if you've got it down right.

Personally, I'm hoping for an HD version of UMK3 if/when WB re-releases it on XBL.

UMK will return to the 360, question is not if but when.
 
Where did those guys learn how to play in UMK3? That last fight was so epic, I wished I was there to see it in person.

Were you the only commentator, Tim? I loled at some of your comments.

yea man, the finals were great, but we had casuals going all day Saturday, all night in hotel rooms....and bringing UMK3 to these big tournies (also when I had my UMK3 cab @ Seasons Beatings 4 last October) brings so many fans out of the woodworks. MK was special to so many people for one reason or another. But with that being said, the common feeling is how terrible the new MK's are. :(

I did all the matches, and my buddy Phil (aka Joe Pesci) did some too. Shock did some as well, but his mic was accidentally turned off so hardly any of his comments were heard, which sucked because it was very good and was very intelligent too :/
 
Man, I always try those sorts of combos as Smoke but just can't nail the timing. Impressive stuff.
 
Where was this held at? I'd get squashed in the tourney, but a night of UMK3 on arcade machines would be absolute bliss.

Morristown, NJ.

I'm going to a tourney this weekend at an Arcade in Cincinnati and then at another tourney in Cleveland on June 26th where I am bringing my cab.

oh and dont forget Season's Beatings sometime in mid-October right here in Columbus! (SB5 hasnt been made OFFICIAL yet tho!)
