Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 out on Java mobiles this week?

Classic '90s beat-'em-up Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is on its way to Java mobiles later this week.

Seven of the fighters from the original arcade game are present in this version, including everyone’s favourite spear-wielding psycho Scorpion; lovely blonde-haired lady fighter Sonya; and the completely forgettable Cyrax.

The game promises to contain ‘key combos’ along with five of the original stages from the arcade cab, three different difficulty levels, and dual control methods in order to cater for both casual players and the ‘hardcore’.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is expected to high-kick mobile gaming portals around the 1st of December, and we’ll have a review of the title a little later this week.

So why the hell would they release this on Java :S? Who even owns a cell phone anymore LOL, most people should have smartphones by now, either a Blackberry, IPhone, Android phone or even a new windows phone. It wouldve made more sense if they released it on iOS, Android and Windows Phone. As a Blackberry owner, I wouldnt be opposed to it being released for Blackberry OS 6, but really, who plays games on Blackberries besides Brickbreaker and the rest of the preinstalled games LOL.

Hm.... reminds me of the versions of Mk1-3 that were released on the original Game Boy. Additionally I'd love to see how awful the control scheme is. I have enough problems hitting the right numbers on those little old phones trying to make phone calls LOL.
