We at TRMK have launched a new contest starting today in anticipation of the upcoming release of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for the Nintendo Wii. The contest is called Mortal Mii Mondays and each Monday through the months of March and April we we will showcase a fan-created Mortal Kombat themed Mii with the most votes for that week.

At the end of April, there will be a final vote-off contest between all the top Miis from each week during the two months. The top three winners of this contest will walk away with a copy of Mortal Kombat Armageddon for the Nintendo Wii or the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller.

So starting now we are looking for your best creations, which can be entered on our contest submission form. Users will need to upload a digital camera image of the Mii creation. Then, their Mii be voted on by a jury of their peers. People entering the contest also have an added option to earn five bonus votes by submitting to us a creation guide for their MK Mii using our customer Mii Creator pages of the Submission Form.

Once we have a few submissions, everyone can vote for them on the main contest page. The first Mortal Mii will be showcased next Monday, one week from now. Check out the first fan-submitted Mii of Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon on the right of this news story.

See the main contest page for more details and to start voting today!

Well I'm definitely going to try...but I don't know how well this can work. The only things you can do with a Mii are faces. There's no masks either. That rules out all the ninjas, Kabal, Reiko, Dairou, Nightwolf, Kano, Jax, Kenshi, Raiden, Shinnok, Quan Chi, Kung Lao, Liu Kang (sort of, no headband), Daegon (No scar or dual colored beard), Ashrah, Sareena, Sheeva, Baraka, Motaro, Havik, Drahmin, Moloch, Meat, Kahn, Goro, Kintaro, Onaga, and Blaze. Limiting us to developers and characters without extreme hairstyles or hats. Idk how we'll even get a Mii a week with that selection.

Mortal Mii Monday #1: Ed Boon Mii.

As far as what you said Glamador, I saw some Ninjas created with some creative uses of other parts.

I made a lot of the characters you just mentioned, but people aren't' voting for mine. I was told some popular member here is the reason why I'm not getting any votes. I was wondering is the final decision based on judges, or will it be a popularity contest?

Well I don't know which ones you made, but the only ones I can say I really like are the second Liu Kang (yet only 8 votes...madness), Kabal (Gotta give credit to the creator for some clever work), and Scorpion (b/c I never knew you could do that with a mii!). But I had to vote for Shao Kahn 'cus he's just the best. If you didn't make any of those I listed, the reason ppl arn't voting for you is because they aren't good. So stop complaining.

Who would that be? I'll tear him limb from limb.
The thing I think should be disqualified is that extremely high quality pic of the Liu Kang that has 8 votes currently. It's not made using a Wii, it's made using a Mii creator. The flash mii creator has no restrictions on sizes and placements, where as the Mii Channel on Wii does.

Just something you should look into, Pat.

Yeah I fixed that, it was reported to me (I wasn't able to see the screen at work) but I forgot to delete it. It is gone now.
