So the year has almost come to an end and this year was a good year for movies, lots of highs some lows. What are your top 10 movies you have seen so farthis year( the list can include movies that have been released in earlier years but seen in 2012), rating from the highest to the lowest and your reasons for the same.

This is my list, I shall update my reasons soon.

I've missed out on a couple of great movies including Looper, Skyfall, Django Unchained etc and couldn't see them so far.

Still many more movies I need to see. I heard End of Watch, Looper,Django Unchained and Life of pi were great.
 
From highest to lowest, top to bottom, IMO:

2 ) The Dark Knight Rises
3 ) Sherlock Holmes: A game of shadows
4 ) The Amazing Spiderman
5 ) Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
6 ) Brave
7 ) The Dictator
8 ) American Pie: Reunion


I only have a "Top 8" list of 2012, but those were my favorites that I saw.
If the movie made my "Top 8" list, even if it's last on the list, then I truly enjoyed it. ;)
 
I wanted to add some more movies like Django, or Spider-Man here's my 10 though:

2012 wasn't that great of a year so I could just pick my top 5:

1. Life of Pi
2. The Avengers
3. Argo
4. The Hobbit: AUJ
5. Beasts of the Southern Wild
 
Ive only seen 5 2012 films this year, 3 at home and 2 at the cinema.
1) Hobbit

5) Prometheus
Hated Prometheus and Dark Knight TBH

I only got to see 3 2012 movies, which are The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man and that Tyler Perry movie that came out in the summer

I didn't even get to see The Dark Knight Rises :?

But yeah, The Avengers is my favorite by default
