OK i have been playing this demo with my brother and its great.
My bro was amazing at MKvDC, online and offline, i was good too but he could mostly dominate me. I however didnt like some of his wins because i belive the game had lost of timing issues, like combos off breakers. And combos that you coudlnt avoid or counter, like with green lantern you can push back hammer, tripple hammer and then hammer punch. If timed right you couldnt do anything but stay at the other end of the screen getting owned from afar. Also on MKvDC you could uppercut through high punch combos, kind of countering them, i also didnt like this as if they ducked and stood up into ur combo with an uppercut it would overide, rather than sweep you or something low.
Heres where it gets into the new MK demo. My bro thinks there is timing issues on this game , he is outraged that you cant uppercut through punch combo. I belive this is fine.
He also doesnt like, if u crouch you cant get thrown. I also like this becuse if you just standing there blocking being lame , the guy can throw you stopping that awkward gameplay. But there also need to be a way to not be grabbed = crouch no block. wich again i think is a fine way of avoiding it.
The only thing i dont like atm is sub zeros slide move, if the guy is laying on the floor (been knocked down) you slide into them and it just pushes them without hitting. this also happens when u uppercut people and go for a slide after. I think they might have done this to stop infiniates or something, if so i realise why its neccassary.
Basically does any1 on here find there are timing issues with this game?
Or doesn he just need to ajust from MKvDC?
And do you agree with me that MKvDC had timign issues?
