I don't know if freeze could be made dark enough in one movie they'd have to explain why he is who he is and explain what happened to his wife. but i could see it happening sometime. Hathaway I have no hope for what so ever. So if she does awful I won't be to disappointed. I wonder if bane brakes batman's back.

I think part of the problem with Batman is that it can be hard to make some of the characters dark enough to fit the atmosphere of the movies. I dunno, I just can't see Mr. Freeze in one of these movies....too 'cartoony' of a character, imo, but I guess they could try to make him dark enough to not be laughable.

Same reason I don't want to see clayface. He wouldn't fit in the newer movies. Too cartoony.

the hell? sure he would an actor turned criminal i could see him like mr. freeze taking more then one movie to explain. but now adays no one wants to invest that much time into a super long movie about superheroes. so yeah i don't see either of them ever happening wich is dumb.

lol it's not the story I'm worried about. I think they can explain it quickly and easily enough in time frame given.

It's the feel and setting they give off compared to the first 2 movies.

Clayface and Mr.Freeze are about as unrealistic as you can get with a movie heading in a realistic direction.

a guys body can take any shape/form

and a guy who must be kept at subzero temperatures or he dies. <-- both are a little cartoony.

yeah i get that.

i'm actually surprised nolan didn't choose to put hush in to this movie. bruce's jealous child hood friend who ends up going insane and murdering people and stealing their face so he can look like bruce how more real can you get. I think that would have been a lot better then catwoman.

I'm not a fan of catwoman either but all the actors and nolan seem to be very proud of the story and the ending to this movie. Considering they know they have to live up to the dark knight's shadow and took their time making the script, I'm sure its gonna be good. Maybe not "Dark Knight" good, but still really good lol Idk why no one seems to have faith with this one.

i have faith in nolan and the movie just not anne hathaway she is an awful actress imo.

Ehh she's pretty much been in nothing but chick flicks so I'm not much of a fan besides her looks. Hopefully she'll surprise us lol

they wouldnt fit in these nolan movies of course, but would be badass in a new series of Batman films with a more stylized comic direction. Just cause something isnt Nolan standards, doesnt mean it should be labeled "Cartoony", almost as an insult.

But I get what you mean, these characters would look out of place, and it's best not to use them

I hope its more epic than the previous one, but it seems impossible. Also i want Batman to have an epic death scene in this. He dies a legend or something!!

I'm not insulting them. To be honest... even batman is "cartoony" in a sense. But obviously since you got what I ment by they wouldn't fit in "HIS" films. Not much to discuss. Just know I like Mr.Freeze concept and I think his story is a good one for the batman to deal with. I also like Clayface, but when it comes to THIS SERIES, I do not think they fit.

They already tried Mr. Freeze in a batman movie, and that turned out to be the worst batman movie of all time.

And im a bit skeptical on catwoman myself, but only because I thought Michelle Pfieffer was fantastic as catwoman in batman returns.

been watching the trailer, and its pretty good. The trailer gives off a creepy doomsday feel in a way, hinting that anything can happen in this last movie and nothing's holding it back. All the characters you loved in the other movies, you'd better be prepared to loose some in the end.


And Bane. Well, he's a ****ing badass here. And my favorite batman villain by the way. They did the best they could to make him look cool in the most real world way possible. The mask looks sick as hell. My only concern is, I think they should have gotten an actor of Latino decent to portray him, and Nolan seems to only want to use his Inception actors. But Tom Hardy from the trailer looks like a badass, so I cant complain.

It's gonna be cool

Been hearing and reading some rumors regarding some story leaks. Take this with a grain of salt though, not sure to what extent it is true.

Spoiler:
In the first trailer, it is believed that commissioner Gordon is one in the Batman suit at the scene where Bane approaches him, as a result of which he gets beaten by badly (perhaps having his back broken) and wishes for the real Batman to return while at the hospital. Another rumor is regarding Joker and that he will make an appearance in story and he infact is somewhere in the trailer. Also this events of the movie is said to be set about 8 to 10 years after the events of The Dark Knight.It is assumed Batman has been MIA since then.
