Super Smash Bros

I was just thinking today, Smash 4 should really have Blastoise in the game. How you gonna have Charizard playable but not Blastoise?

In fact, if they want, they could even put in Blue as another Pokemon Trainer and have one of his Pokemon be Blastoise. Although I'd prefer both of the two be playable on their own, but that's probably the most likely way we'd get Blastoise playable in Smash

yeah, Gary (blue) could have the same three starter pokemon, except his are all different evolution stages.

Blasoise
Bulbasaur
Charmeleon

or whatever combination different than Red's. The series is known for having clones, and this would be a great way to include more characters.

and I like the 10 year anniversary video posted

They could put alvin and the chipmunks in this game for all I care... I just want it to play like Melee :(

But on a serious note:

I'd like to see more F-zero characters perhaps.

Or THE GREEN RANGER!!!

lol j/k

Melee skin hacks are fun.

Spoiler:
Hyrule Temple theme- Melee (Me and my friends ALWAYS used to play here)

Fourside theme- Melee (Stage reminds me of a nighttime version of the Saffron City stage from the original Smash Bros)

Multi-Man Melee 2 theme- Melee (It oddly kinda reminds me of Kirby Air Ride music, and yes, I know, this came before Kirby Air Ride)

All-Star Rest Area theme- Melee (Both this song and the Rest Area always fascinated me as a kid)

Multi-Man Melee theme- Melee (reminds me of Donkey Kong, probably because he was the character I'd always use in Multi-Man Melee)

Fire Emblem theme- Melee (Better than the Brawl version, and I really miss Roy :()

Dr. Mario theme- Melee (I miss him and his Megavitamins :()

Poke Floats theme- Melee (I loved this stage so much! BRING BACK MEWTWO!!!! :()

Flat Zone theme- Melee (Great song, shitty stage)

Saria's Theme- Melee (I like Young Link more than Toon Link, even though the latter is less of a clone of Link than the former)

Super Mario Bros. 3 theme- Melee (Everytime I think of this song, I think of the Melee credits)

Venom theme- Melee (I always loved playing as Samus and Falco on this stage for some reason)

Pokemon Gold theme- Melee (One of my favorite songs in the whole game, and I actually loved Pichu in Melee, he's just so damn cute)

Brinstars Depth theme- Melee (Love this song, definitely better than the Brawl version; I loved how Kraid was a stage hazard in the game)

Congo Jungle 64 theme- Melee (So glad they kept this stage and music from 64! It, Saffron City and Sector Z were always my favorite stages)

Kongo Jungle rap theme- Melee (I like this even better than the version they had in 64)

Princess Peach's Castle theme- Melee (Peach was so boss in Melee)

Fountain of Dreams theme- Melee (Definitely the best Kirby theme in the game, reminds me of the intro for Melee for some reason)

Corneria theme- Melee (Fox and Falco were so legit in this game)

Pokemon Stadium theme- Melee (Ahhh, good ol Kanto... I remember how I would always pick his stage in Training Mode and spawn a shitload of Pokeballs to throw at the opponent and whatnot lol and I also remember using this stage a lot in my attempts to unlock Mewtwo)

Mushroom Kingdom II theme- Melee (Always liked this stage a lot more than the regular Mushroom Kingdom, and Super Mario Bros. 2 along with the whole world of Subcon and whatnot has always fascinated me as a child)

Balloon Flight theme- Melee (I think this might have been the first 8-bit song I ever listened to, and if not, then it's the first one that I actually liked)

Mute City theme- Melee (One of my absolute favorite tracks in the entire game. I would always play this stage in Training Mode as a kid JUST to hear this music. This shit is sooooooooo badass)

Brinstar theme- Melee (Another dope track. One of the first stages where I actually tried to knock out my opponent upwards)

Great Bay theme- Melee (Dat Zelda theme. Love the stage, too, used to always look forward to seeing the moon close in on us in this background, also reminds me of my constant spam of Link's aerial down move, lol)

Menu 1 theme- Melee (Ahhhh, the memories I had reading through all the Trophy descriptions and checking out my Trophy Gallery to this song)

Menu 2 theme- Melee (Who could honestly hate this game?)

Target Test/Home-Run Contest theme- Melee (Funny how all the clone characters like Dr. Mario and Young Link had the most challenging Targest Tests)

Battlefield theme- Melee (1000000000x better than Brawl version... this reminds me of Race to the Finish, I want that back )

Final Destination theme- Melee (Anyone else have fond/terrible memories of getting assraped by Master Hand and Crazy Hand? I know I do)

Intro theme- Melee (Best intro of the series by far, especially better than Brawl's recycled ass intro, and one of the best intros ever. Not much else to say)

Metal Battle theme- Melee (This music gets me so pumped! Especially in-game and when I'm playing as a faster, more nimble character like Fox or Pikachu)

Trophy theme- Melee (And last but definitely not least is this theme. One of the most nostalgiac and overall best tracks I've ever heard from a Nintendo game. I wouldn't mind seeing a revamped Snag the Trophies minigame return in Smash 4. Perhaps the fondest memory I have of this theme is buying various trophies from the Lottery while listening to this music play in the background, only to be eventually greeted with a trophy of my favorite Pokemon character, Misty, who is also one of my absolute favorite fictional characters overall. What made it even better is how I completely did NOT expect her to make any kind of appearance in the game, so seeing her in trophy form alongside other trophies just felt great overall)

WAT

I knew that you knew that, I was posting the news about Smash 4's interconnectivity between the 3DS and Wii U and how it'll be a major feature of the two games

Most likely they're gonna add Mewtwo and Roy back (no they weren't replaced by Lucario and Ike, STFU about that, they were both planned to be in Brawl but cut most likely due to time constraints), but as for completely new characters, I would say the most likely are probably Ridley (no, he isn't too big, watch the intro to Melee), Little Mac, King K. Rool and/or Dixie Kong, Mega Man and Samurai Goroh (plllllllllllllllllllllllz)

Must've been thinking of Sony Smash Bros, Yung

*sigh* If only Rareware were still with Nintendo... we could have Banjo and Kazooie, Conker, Fulgore or Joanna Dark in Smash

Ask and ye shall receive, Yung

http://wii.ign.com/articles/122/1223770p1.html

Even though it's not that big of news lol

tl:dr
the game has only barley begun to be worked on, further hinting a lackluster Wii U launch.
and Nintendo's vague and infamous definition of "Change" will be put to use.

not to thrilled about this news.

but this is one of nintendo's biggest series. I dont think they would change it too much. I'll still be looking out for this game.
