Sub-Zero

I used to be a Subby nut when I was a kid, but know...I dunno. It's not the same for some reason. If anything, I'm a fan of the arrogant, immoral, elder Sub-Zero...not his goody-two-shoes younger brother.

Same I like Bi Han way more, but I still like both of them I really hope we get to see Kuai Liang turn evil! That would be awsome!
 
yeah sub-zero is totally cool (pun??) even though pictures of him are everywhere every time i see him i'm like " woah dude looks awesome!" i think he has the best new costume in mk9 besides ermac and noob. his shoes are sweet too i hope some one makes a pair i'd sport em. only two weeks away!! I can't wait i'll be there at midnight to get my copy.

i was fortunate enough to get umk3 when it came out on xbla a couple of years ago. i've been practicing with sub-zero like crazy. and night wolf gotta give it up to the only cool native american in video games today. dude is badass. i hope they do a traditional native attire as his second costume. but back to sub-zer0. he has a slower play style but he definitely has power in it. he kind of reminds me of ryu from street fighter minus the dragon punch. i hope they give him a badass second costume and not suspenders. i like sub-zero in mk3 but his costume sucks.
 
Many people ask me, if Sub-Zero is your favorite, then why are you on Sektor's nuts (& bolts) 24/7?

Simple, think of Sub-Zero and Sektor as dogs.
Sub-Zero is the dog I've had all my life, Sektor is my puppy.
All my attention is focused on Sektor (the puppy lol), but in the back of my mind, all the love is for my buddy and pal.
 
does no one like the cyber sub-zero. i though was pretty good, but a little tricky. i think he is a good addition to the rooster.
 
I'm working on both Sub-Zero and Scorpion in the new MK. I like them as a Tag-Team duo, they keep people on their toes. Scorpion's got speed and can keep pushing the whole match and Sub-Zero sits back a little bit more, defensive before he punishes. It's a good change up.

Both of these guys have been my favorites since I played MKII as a kid. Pre-ordered from Best Buy and am now rocking Sub-Zero's klassic getup.
 
I liked how the new Sub-Zero had that scar on his eye that was a 'mark of death' from the Lin-Kuei. I think his character designs in Deadly Alliance and Deception were the best out of all though. His grab in Deadly Alliance where he rode the opponent like a surf boards gotta make a come back one day.
 
Sub-Zero. Now HE is a model kombatant. The ice powers, kori blade and overall species (cryomancer) is what make Sub-Zero an unforgettable character. I liked his costume in MK3 and Deception. At first I thought he was one of the bad guys when I saw him working for Shang Tsung, but after reading I discovered that he looks out for his clan. Even the name itself is awesome (not to mention very suprising because my refrigerator's company is SubZero).

Sub-Zero: the very defenition of Cool.

...... bwahaha.... I couldn't keep a straight face. Subby is the shiz and one of the two most iconic fighting game characters invented, Mr. Hellfire himself being the first. Long live the reign of Sub-Zero! FYF!

This is a great character!!!
 
I remember, back before the MK:D days, Wikipedia had a really interesting backstory for Sub Zero's ancestry from various sources including comics and conquest TV series. It went all the way back to cryomancers of outworld and how one of Kuai Liang's ancestors joined the Lin Kuei. He was the first ever Sub Zero. Bi Han was the 5th Sub Zero, followed by Kuai Liang who was the 6th. But once it was revealed that Noob Saibot was actually Bi Han, the article was removed. :(
