Someone claims to have the guide on GameFAQS by the name of CajunShooter. It's not confirmed, but I will post what he said.
I have the guide, and I thought I would go ahead and give an overview of everything you can expect to find in this guide. This way people can decide if they want to spend the $19.99 on the guide or not. The Kollector's Edition is $34.99 and from what I can recall will include everything in this guide with the inclusion of a song download, a behind the scenes visit of Netherrealm Studios and I think edition concept art as well as being Hard Back.
This will contain spoilers as I will give a preview of one character to give people an idea of how the writer lays out the character pages so you are warned!
Part I: 4 pages of tear out quick references cards containing all fighters 2 finishing moves plus stage fatalitiy.
Part II: A Brief History of the Mortal Kombat games. Not story history, but just the history of game releases with some interesting information about trounaments and Mortal Kombat's relevance in the fighting genre.
Part III: Basic button presses as well as general strategies that all fighters can utilize. How to start combos, pop up attacks, overhead attacks, special move cancels, etc.
Part IV: A very brief listing of the different chapters of story mode and which Mortal Kombat storyline they come from and who you will play as. No information just a list. For examples: Mortal Kombat 1 is Chapter 1-5. Mortal Kombat 2 is chamter 6-12, and Mortal Kombat 3 is Chapters 13-17. It also includes a list of all arenas and which ones have stage fatalities.
Part V: Challenge Tower tips on 22 of the hardest challenges. There is also a table of all 300 challenges, the name, player you use, partner if they have one, and opponents as well as the reward for completing the challenge.
Part VI: Full Krypt table revealing everything that each krypt contains and the price to unlock.
Part VII: Kombatant Overviews. I am going to run through Baraka's to give people and idea of what is included in each fighter's bio. Each character has an artist drawn picture of the fighter. Most look pretty awesome.
Bio - A brief paragraph explaining who the character is and a little history as to why they are in the tournament.General Strategies - This is another brief overview of some strategies to use while playing this character. For example: Baraka's attack style if best suited for close attacks. Blade attack is effective anti air as well as chop chop. Baraka has to remain on offensive warpath due to his lack of long range quick moves.

Quick reference chart as to how each character fares against another.
