Some Supers Are Lame/Weak

Hey guys, so I made this thread to disscuss the super moves of the characters in Injustice. Some supers are really cool (Superman and Batman) while others are lame or weak (Catwoman, Hawkgirl, Harley). Here are my ideas for why a certain character's super is weak or good

1. Harley's super is preety lame because all she does is light an exploding pie underneath your feet.

2. Hawkgirl's super is kind-a cool because its's in slow-mo but all she does is hit you twice with her mace.

3. Catwoman's super is ok but it can be improved. The last part of it (where she breaks your neck is fine) but for the beggining of it all she does is hit you.

4. Batman's super is ok too because the only cool part is at the end (when he hits you with the Batmobile)

5. Bane's super is perfect because we all got what we wanted, seeing bane do the "Bat-Breaker". Even if all he does is hit you it matches his character. And really, all we wanted him to do is break your back over his knee.

6. Wonder Woman's super is cool but weird, I mean, she is the Amazon Princess, she should not need the help of other Amazons in battle.

What do you guys think? let me hear your thoughts on ANY charater's super move (whether good or bad) :):)

I don't have a problem with Harley's super, cause I believe that you can keep comboing after it.

Shazam's super does look like weaker version of Supes'

Not impressed by Green Lantern's for some reasons, too predictable maybe

The only ones I don't like are Harlie's and Hawkgirl's. But it looks like characters may have more than one Super move... because I've seen game play videos where Batman would finish them by handing them above the ground with his grappling hook, but in that bane video, he instead finishes by hitting them with the Batmobile.

There's only 1 super move per character, they had to changed Batman's one, cause it wasn't cool enough

I like Hawkgirl's super, you're underestimating how strong she is hitting them with the momentum she builds from flying as fast as she is.

Ok.

Cause hitting them twice in the air is so much hyper than her say I don't know, bashing her enemy in the face, then do a two hit combo then sending them flying into the ground with her mace. Then to finish the super she hurls her mace at the downed opponent smashing them into the ground again.

I don't know why grundy has to pull a knife out in his super since he starts it off as a grab anyways he should of just grabbed and then tossed the opponent then tombstone smack them, why the knife?

Some of the supers are just too long and have out of place moves like bats weird stun gun combo and Catwoman's stuff, supes gets to the point and moves things along. Cap M. tries too hard (really grab and spin them after you already knocked them down) bane has his down fine , GL is an AA gun shy of being Ryan Reynolds.

Sinestro's is sort of like GL's only shorter and looks better, Nightwing is alright but after the tenth time it will get old zig zagging on a bike seems too gimmicky after awhile.

The worst is cyborg... seriously lame is stamped all over that mess.

I like to think that Superman, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Deathstroke, Green Lantern, Catwoman, Bane and Sinestro supers are painful, even though some don't look fancy like Batman's and Deathstroke, but what remains the fact is the damage done.

Solomon Grundy could've done more attacks on his super. Add at least 1 or 2 more hits before throwing his opponent down and knocking them out with the tombstone.

Harley super does end with more combo opportunities, like Green Arrow. But it's just that during that battle arena match against Wonder Woman, the player who played as Harleen didn't want to pull no 360 and do more combos to beat Wonder Woman.

Harleys is awesome its insane just like she is and Im pretty sure u can follow it up with a gun shot or cartwheel
Sinestros isn't any shorter than GL. He grabs you, takes you through a portal to space, crushes you with two meteors, then constructs a giant laser and doors you back down. I don't think any if then are lame. I want feeling Batman but sniffing you with the batmobile is pretty epic.

Harley's is the best, because it's not over-dramatic like 95% of the supers.

This means that Joker's is good as well.

Everything else is going to just feel overplayed, and quick. Especially ones like Superman's.

"Oh look, he's punching his opponent into orbit...again."

Aquaman's is pretty cool too. It has a big impact, but it's short, sweet, and simple enough for enjoyment every time.

Then you got Batman's super, which is cool, until that unnecessary back-flip at the end. Sure, it's badass the first time, but after the one hundred matches you're going to play against him in the first week, it's going to get old.

I think this is going to be an endless debate, and a matter of preference. If you're a huge Harley Quinn fan (guilty) you will love her super move and if u don't love her u prob think its boring. Same goes for the rest.
My favorites right now are Sinestro, Joker, Batman, Bane and Aquaman.

Superman. His shizz is super generic as heck. Then again, he is a generic super hero. Maybe, but that may me the part of me that doesn't like Superman. Haha

Actually I agree with this. I do not like Sinestro so I think his super is lame meaning my preference is all over the place

im fine with all the special moves. They each fit the character and their play-style.

my only concern is when some of them do their supermove on the Watchtower stage... since its in outerspace
Superman, Flash, Lex Luther, Shazam, and Hawkgirl

I think Grundy's could use just a little more oomph to it, maybe something else big added, like the character being pulled down to their waist by the zombie hands, then have him stick the knives in them and follow it up with a tombstone over the head. Or just make it so he recites the poem during it, that would have been sweet.

Hawkgirl should have one more part added to it. Maybe grabbing them and flying straight down, dropping them straight on their head after the mace shots.

Green Lantern's seems a little redundant/overkill. But it's not terrible.

I like Harley's because the running punch fakeout is great.

The rest are great too.

Cyborg's is garbage. At least make it like Iron Man's MVC super where the initial hit doesn't have to connect for the super to come out. Chip damage baby

Yeah, that's the weird thing about the supers in this game.

They aren't really moves...they're cinematics. So there's no chip damage, nor does the move keep going regardless if they dodge it. It's either you get that initiation hit, or nothing. As was the case with the X-Rays. It's not something you really notice, but it is weird when you think about the difference. heh Oh well.

Superman hits them in to space from the earth how are they going to do that with them already in space

Flash runs around the earth... Can't do that in space

Lex Luther throw a huge ball of energy and you see it explode on the earth..x but the fights in space
