Shujinko ages...and the others..dont?

Yeah basically shujinko ages about 60 years... but everyone else looks the same... how come only he ages? is there something in the story i missed? the only other cahracter i know is very old or eternal is raiden and sindella
 
you have to take the things you see in konquest with a grain of salt...because if you try and follow the timeline they screw things up horribly.

basically the things that happen in konquest i dont consider as "real". we know that shujinko goes on a quest for the kamidogu yes...but when he starts the quest some of the characters you see wouldnt have even been born yet.

so know that yes shujinko went on this long quest but the events you see in konquest probably didnt happen the way it seems because it would interfere with the mk storyline.
 
Yeah, just go with it. Kinda like how the Nexus is supposed to be a timeless void, but today I noticed a sun and moon both rising and falling regularly. Just enjoy it for what it is and don't think too much about it. Otherwise you'll start questioning the meaning of a Thunder God, how one guy has spear-tips shooting from his palms and why Kitana still looks friggin' HOT after 10 thousand years.

Though I'm sure there's a pissed off Earthrealm woman. I still have her bucket full of water. I should totally dump it on Raiden and watch him spaz out. :wink:
 
This is MK, people bleed 10x more than humans do(and some ARE human). You can smack someone upside the head with a hammer and nothing happens. Heck, you can break someone's arm for an eternity yet it STILL won't look broken, same goes for all bones.

If you wanted something realistic, you have made the most innacurate purchase of all time.

Not to be rude, but you were asking for that one, too :p
 
uh ok i didnt say anything about wanting to buy a realistic game... this is a discussion board, i didnt know there were limits. I just thought it can be a subject we can all think about.. damn... chill out.. its not good to have an attitude...
 
What you all are forgetting is that many events during Shuinko's quest forced him to "age" a good deal when other characters did not necessarily do the same. In the Chaos realm, Shujinko goes through a 5-10 (not sure of the number) year aging simply by "walking through the shallow pool of water", or whatever the hell it was at the end of the realm. I think this explains that time on Konquest is different for Shujinko than it is for other characters.
 
As i remember it that pool didnt age him it just made time pass really fast without him realizing it. So while he was in that maze time on the outside was going really fast. Which ofcourse makes we wanna go back and meditate in that water till the end times :wink:

He aged immediately after emerging from that water; it aged him.
