Should This Be a DLC?: Story Mode Extentions

Now I know many people are going to say that this is pointless and that the next MK installment will have the continuing story, but I got to say that what exactly will they upgrade in the next installment? MK9 is pretty much perfect kombat wise so i dont know what they can upgrade exactly. Anyways, I thought that there should be a story line extention that comes free with the season pass. Now i dont mean starting from the end, I mean in the middle of the story, so in doing so, there are chapter selects in the story mode. I just thought of this so the dlc characters can be included in the story, and that the fact that the story mode is kinda short.
 
Yea story mode was kinda short they should have done chapters where you play as the villains it would have been awesome if Shao Kahn had a chapter

Thats a great idea actually I didnt think of playing as the villians.

Well it is understandable, he wants the story writers for MK10 and as for extra stages and fatalities, I think new DLC characters produce more money, and he is working to make DLC that alot of people will buy so that he can put more money into MK10

Hmm alright, but hopefull he'll find a way to extend the story line because according to the ending of mk9, it looks like there isnt much to do with.

Well the ending of MK9 implies Shinnok will be the main enemy and Quan Chi has the souls of all the characters who died so they most likely will be showing up in MK10 somehow

I was originally hoping for this scenario for Cyber Sub-Zero, but that never happened.
I think I would have preferred him as a "What if" DLC character, with his OWN story, rather than a "Main Story" character.

If you look MK9's ending you see that there is A LOT more to come...

Well it makes sense that Cyber Sub Zero is in the main story because if they didnt catch Smoke, Sub Zero will have to replace him.
