Shang Tsung Gameplay Trailer Revealed

G4TV's The Feed <a href="http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/711834/mortal-kombat-shang-tsung-gameplay-video-exclusive/">posted today</a> what NetherRealm Studios Community Manager <a href="http://twitter.com/NinjaBoy66/status/58534994850750465">Rigo Cortes is calling</a> "our last gameplay trailer before launch." This time we get to see some gameplay from the young-old-man himself Shang Tsung. He has most of his old moves, and looks like he's retained the ability to steal the form of his opponent this time around.

I have my KE paid off, and I couldn't be happier for this game to come out.

My weekends usually pass by really fast, and before I know it, it's Monday again. ;-)
 
I almost cry of happiness after see he has his MK2 moves, amazing skull combos, soul rip attacks and that awesome fatality. Can this game become more cool? Best MK ever!!

So that move where the skin disappears before he knees them in the jaw was his X-Ray. I wonder if the opponent has to fight skinless after that move. That would actually be awesome if that happened.
 
Shang Stung isn't removing his enemy's skin. It's class an XRAY MOVE because you see the damage the moves are causing inside the body. Everyone has an XRAY and they all do the same thing (the visual of bones and muscle inside the body). The camera will pull back out after the XRAY MOVE and the characters will look the same...just a little more bloody.
 
The xray is showing no skin because Shang's hands are shifting through the muscles and bone of the chest, Temple of doom style instead of a typical bone break. thus the skin strip aesthetic is more appropriate.

I know, it's just that with Shang Tsung's you can clearly see him stealing the soul through the skin which makes their skin disappear. And it looked like it might stay that way even after he knees them in the jaw, which is why I was wondering. I'm probably wrong though.
 
Phew, I didn't know when some of those juggles were going to end! Can't wait to master Shang too. :)

All these gameplay trailers do is make it more difficult for me to choose who to play with and in what order.
 
Where they are going old school, it makes me wonder...did they put in his Kintaro morph Fatality from MK2? :twisted:

That is so great. That means the sh*t is gonna hit the fan really soon!! Enough of them videos and actually start "testing" that gameplay ourselves!! Rigo FTW !!! :D
