i agree with the "save them for mk10" logic to an extent. i don't want them releasing characters past the arcade games(mk1-mk4) aka kenshi. i would like them to save those characters for mk10. after all this game was a fan service for the "original trilogy", not "the original trilogy with everybody from the 3d games as dlc". so long as they don't keep releasing characters from the 3d games i'm fine.

MKII Kung Lao was so badass. I always thought he was the most mysterious looking motherf----r ever when I was younger lol. His MK3 getup isn't bad, but I love his MKII look lol.

Raon and Skarlet klassics are highly unlikely. Why would you give some people kostume for characters they can't even access with the compatibility pack.

no no no please no more mileena and kitana they've got theres and the ninjas got theres move on to Quan chi,jax, among others y keep going back to the usual 7, 19 more then go back to them.

I don't think NRS is going to give anyone besides the Ninjas klassics I would wanna see MK2 Jax and MK1 Kano but they don't seem likely to me

Eh kinda, then again both Kenshi and Rain's costumes in the promo could just be early renders and not necessarily the final version of them.

I would like to see MK3 Sub-Zero as Cyber-Subs alt/classic. MKII Kung Lao, MKII Jax, and Cyber Smoke or MK3 Shang Tsung

Well, to be fair there was a problem with the whole 1200 points thing. An easily solvable problem once you knew how to get around it, but a problem nonetheless. You are right, though in that many overracted.

Except that by adding those characters as DLC, this game still is a "tribute to the original trilogy" for those of us that want it to be. For those of us that want it to be our longtime favorites plus our new likable faces, that option would become available. The logic of wanting this to be an original trilogy only roster would leave little to no more room for DLC, and is incredibly close-minded.

yeah, he was a badass. just seeing him in the select screen made you automaticly want to choose him. another reason why he was so awesome was you never really saw his face in the game. his hat shadowed over it making him even more of a badass.

but now since its 2011 and its hard to make it look like that, you end up seeing his face which aint as cool. And his VS pic in mk9 makes him look like a crusty old man

I completely agree with this. One of the things that made MK2 Kung Lao so freaking awesome was that half his face was concealed. Such a shame they couldnt do it this time around. I think they kinda effed up his character making him like a lesser Lui Kang with a hat, they should've made him a lot more mysterious.
 
i would like jax with his neon purple pants from mk3 they were great i know if you press start on his primary you get the darker purple but it is not the same i want neon

Too bad the PS3 version doesn't get the season pass. I just wonder why it's exclusive to the Xbox 360 version.

I agree. I can really only see classic costumes for the ninja characters.
 
Hi i know this is a bit late in the day, but when i purchased the game i downloaded the kombat pass for multiplayer then a few days ago there was an update and then i downloaded the costume pack then the season pass and then the compatibility pack, but the only thing that works is skarlet can anyone help me???
