Retro Costumes

I really hope they release a way for people who didn't pre-order every retro costume to unlock and play as them. I think they're really cool and should be included in a DLC or as an achievement for one of the unline challenges. I really want all the retro costumes/fatalities they're SOOOOOO AWESOME!

It's already been said by NRS that they will be releasing the retro DLC exclusives for download "very soon". Probably within a month.
 
I hope so, I really want kitana's and don't have anything to trade and i'm not giving out my account info.
 
Retro costumes are in the disc so I see no reason for NRS to release them in future. I somewhat dislike Reptile's current look so I'd really like retro skin for him. Wouldn't be bad to get it to Sub-Zero too.
 
I'm reminded again why I can't stand so many people in the MK community, and why I always wind up leaving these forums after a short amount of time.

This is probably the 18th thread asking "Can we get the other DLC costumes?". It's not the fault of the Thread's author, he's new to the forum. People who frequently come here know that the retro costumes and fatalities will be available as DLC soon enough. I said 'Probably within a month" as a guess, since multiple posts on Twitter from NRS have indicated that the rest of the costumes will be available as DLC "very soon" or "soon enough". And yet, here we have the trolls coming in, accusing me of posting "bullsh*t", making moronic comments and asking for evidence that they can easily find in the 18 other "where is the DLC" posts in the forum.

I've been a member of the MK community for over 15 years, probably longer than most people here have been aware of Mortal Kombat's existance. You think I post bullsh*t? F*ck off. I've not seen anything constructive posted by anyone in this thread who has thrown those accusations at me.

So, don't believe me? Check twitter. Check the 18 other "Can I get the retro costume" posts on the forums. If you aren't aware at this point that NRS is going to be making them available for download soon enough, then pay more attention.

Again, no fault to original thread author, he's new and asked an honest question.

Look, I searched High and Low for any official NRS statement on the internet, and yes, I know how to search, I don't follow NRS, I follow Noob on Twitter, I'm not a mind reader, and I sure as hell don't have a crystal ball up my ass. All people want when someone states an official line, is a link to the official line, we need to see it from the official folks themselves. YOU know yourself that half of the things said on Forums can be mistruded and false just to get a rise out of people etc.

But I totally appreciate you belittling others because they're 'too dumb to search forums and specific sources of twitter'. I'm not a troll, just pointing out the obvious, I've not seen anything indicating as such, but if you're so adamant on this post and 'want to clear the air', what would the harm have been to post a link?

Personally, if you're that sick of the MK community 'trolling for legitimate ANSWERS' and you feel the need to leave again, I'm sure none of us will cry at your loss. and P.S. I've been an MK fan since MK1, but again, we all do appreciate your effort to under-mind others that have not had the privilege of viewing the insightful knowledge you so have had.

I didn't join TRMK to get into school yard scraps with the other kids, I came here for knowledge, if you can post the links to such 'KNOWLEDGE', we wouldn't be in this predicament would we?

Im gonna have to side with Shang_Heihachi: I THINK i rememeber seeing NRS say something about it in an interview for a website but i cant rememeber where exactly. There was someone else a while ago who *****ed about me saying goro wont be playable and they complained because i didnt have my sources but it turns out i was right, even though i forgot which video it was from.

They usually do post it all and I'm guessing these'll be more-or-less free unless they decide to throw in some more stages or characters.
 
If I see another Klassic Kostumes thread I'm gonna slam my balls in a bank vault door. NRS has said repeatedly that the Klassic Kostumes will be released when you learn to use the search button.

Thanks alot for the info I'm really psyched! I have Scorpion and his TOASTY! Fatality is totally sweet everyones gotta see! Does anyone know if they're gonna do retro's for Sektor and Cyrax? Also Retro Noob would be cool to play even though fighting him in the game is already awesome I love the shadow look.
