Renji stuff

I've been using Paintshop lately, and I want to know if my stuff looks good or how I can improve it

The 1st ones' background is way too dark, dude. I can barely make out your name. And the second one's background is way too light. Other than that, I like the second one alot. Oh, and I know nothing about Renji, dude.

I like the first one's backgorund a bit, the texture looks good, just a little dark.

The second looks the best, only thing I don't like is the color glow thing with the light blue. Other than that they are both good.
