Practice and super meter question

Is there a way to turn the super meter off?

All I see are options for like normal and refill and something else but it seems that no matter what I choose when I'm practicing they are firing off supers every 10 seconds...

Makes it very difficult to practice.

If you're doing supers every 10 seconds, stop button mashing. I don't know how else to put it. haha

The super meter is part of the game's core mechanics turning it off wouldn't make any sense. it sounds like you need to just practice self control.

I'm think he means in PRACTICE MODE, he turns the super meter to full to practice his meter burn combos, and then the computer on hard. Which makes the computer repeatedly do his super move with the constant full bar during practice mode.

If that is what you're talking about, I've learned that yes the start up animation will still show, but if you hit Back(xbox)\Select(PS3) as soon as the start up animation is done, it will reset to the starting position without having to watch the whole super move.

Oh. I misread the OP. I thought he was doing the supers himself.

Set the meter so it's not unlimited.

Yeh I was a little confused at first. I just know it was happening to me when I was practicing my combos.

...but if he originally set it to full, he should be able to switch it to off too, so my post may have been worthless lol. Probably figured it out by now anyway, oh well.
