They can't even release a couple of simple alt outfits without causing major headaches.

For the UMK3 Cyrax outfit the bomb trap is still in.

UMK3 Cyrax Skin BANNED at all Tournaments

its a bug, the bomb trap that was patched is possible as UMK3 outfit Cyrax only. this is being removed in a hotfix. for right now, UMK3 Cyrax skin at offline tournaments is banned.

For the Sektor alt outfit:

If you are using sektor in his mk3 costume there is a chance performing u+ 3, TU will cause your screen to blackout and your xbox. (don't know about ps3) to freeze.I have only seen this in practice mode but have had 3 friends test it with the same results.

It's one thing to release a whole new character with bugs but a couple of simple costumes?

This is really feeble NRS.
 
I know, say what you will about Activison releasing 15$ map packs, at they come out without any major headaches. NRS can't even release a 5$ character and free character skins without things going wrong.
 
Take it easy guys, its not like NRS has said, take this shit and see you later. They are continually patching the game, and there will be a fix out in a couple of weeks. As long as they keep supporting the game, thats whats important.

They already patched it. Now they need a patch to patch the patch that patched the bug that clearly isn't patched.
 
I don't play with either those two so I'm not worried. Besides, I don't know how to use the bomb trap nor never seen no one do it on me.
 
Get in the game field (if you can. The schooling is hard as hell)

Get in the know (this is hard too, have a good portfolio, and hope to god you can talk to some people)

Then, once you get in, and you're good, go bankrupt, have your last project fail, have other projects you work on go under, then tell me your motives, tell me if making a good game is what comes first, or, making sure your DLC is all good and fine is what comes first...

Be glad they're attempting to make this game balanced first, and have the DLC be something second, because that's the way to go. If MK stays in tournaments, that means we get future games, cause that's publicity and possible sales.

They just got their damn jobs back a year and a half ago. This is the first time they're messing with downloadable content... It's not like NRS is owned by a major gaming company, they're owned by Warner... It's not like they've done this before or has anyone there that has the know-how functions or DLC based backgrounds at other companies.

Be happy we're getting anything at all.

The thing that's inexcusable is the crappy online coding for match making, I haven't been able to get a match still... it's not my internet, cause I can play SSFIV, MvC 3, and any other game just fine, only MK decides to drop all my matches at the character select screen, or, decides to freeze all of KotH.

I'm just more upset about them releasing Skarlet with no Alternate costume,
No spot in the Nekropolis to view her bio/ending/stats.

This. I hope they release a fix that resolve this Cyrax/Sektor issue, plus give Skarlet the others details she is missing.

Technically speaking, we never "knew" that we were getting an alternate. We just knew she had one more costume, and we all assumed she would have it.

Though the Nekropolis is rather lazy.

Totally agree. Ppl need to STFU and quit whining. They will correct all the issues. Just be f-ing patient. Ppl like that are the reason why games arent successful or dont continue with putting out DLC to make it a better game. Just be patient ppl and let them fix it. Its amazing how many stupid ppl I see say they are gonna take this game back. R u serious ppl? Get a life

Actually, some ppl should get a clue and see the reality and take off their neverland glasses... what patches did they released since release? please tell me.... i always see ppl telling that they "continually patching" etc.

FYI: Its not ****ing true! They release ONE patch since release to fix their damn online mode after more than 2 Months! That alone is a shame, but guess what dude... the patch didnt even fixed all the issues, no. Netcode is a little bit better, but koth is still unplayable not because of massive lags like before, no, because u always got out of sync errors all the time.

Then such issues with Costumes freezing your damn Console etc. i mnean wtf is going on here? I dont care about hotfixes where they change some DMG of 3 Charakters, which is so WAYNE for online players, it actually only affects these same 50 tournament players and none else. Whats the point of a good balance on the charakters if the damn online mode isnt even working correctly? PLEASE guys, get a ****ing clue, the game is not only about these 50 "Pros" going to offline tournaments. If NRS cant handle their whole game + online mode, then MK9 is dead faster than any other game.

edit: i dont want to talk about the latest problems with the skarlet DLC... sigh

Seriously do you guys go eat some food at a restaurant and it tastes like crap and your just like well...cooking is really hard and I can't do it sooooo...

Well if you don't eat when you're hungry, you might starve...if you don't play a video game because one online game mode is a little screwy while the rest works, you might get a life...

Activision has been releasing map packs for years now. This is NRS' first attempt at making DLC.

And the Call of Duty games themselves (Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops) themselves are unbalanced as hell, and yet they still release $15 map packs to the public. Black Ops' online portion of the PS3 was way worse than MK9; not only was it laggy as hell, it caused PS3's to freeze or even crash. Treyarch released a few patches early in release that only served to screw up the online even more. It even once said in Search and Destroy "No Xbox LIVE Parties Allowed." And since Call of Duty's best strength is in the online multiplayer with a bunch of friends (the campaigns are pretty short and Zombies is only fun with extra people).

Don't ever compare the DLC for this game to Call of Duty's DLC.
