Not another OP Kung Lao thread

LOL no that's not what this is about. How big is his hit box for that damn spin? It gets me everytime I'm not even touching the blue whirly sh*t. Sometimes I'm a little further than grabbing range an it still catches me. Just curious if anybody know.

Does the same go for offline? Just curious.
 
I use Kung quite a bit and I agree with most of this, it really needs toned down, Baraka's behaving the same would be a bonus also (I don't use him). Also, I love how Kung Lao's hat spin > Jax or Kano's grab X-Ray :)

Wow really? It gets you out of their X-rays? Big surprise lol....

And I can agree a low poke/sweep should stop the spin
 
i would be for a low poke stopping the spin, and the spin probably shouldnt have any projectile immunity sept maybe on wakeup special given how useful it is at stopping pressure.

god...i provided feedback to a thread with a whine title complaining about a single char....woes me. seriously tho, even if his spin is this good, i dont think hes a god tier char, just powerful. while some changes could be made, mostly no to the extent you guys suggest as it would decimate him, which is often the case of many players suggesting tweaks to chars, it will either destroy them or overpower them. most of the time at least.
 
But he can... after he's done..... easily. A blocked spin now-a-days is a full combo.

dont tell them that. they are still convinced they cant do it. ive seen this bit of logic put in thse kinds of threads, you just get people saying "well i still cant seem to do it"
 
I know you can punish Kl's spin on recovery, it's just slightly annoying that you can't hit him whilst he's actually spinning without having blocked it (and thus take chip damage)
 
Yeah it's ridiculous how much priority that spin has, however, when you knock a KL player down, rush him and block. 9/10 the guy will do his Spin on wakeup that he is 100% convinced is invincible.

Rush him, block. The spin will push you back BUT NOW, he can be touched.

Food for thought.

It definitely reaches just slightly out of bounds of what you'd expect to hit. A great way to trick kunglao is to be passive aggressive IN HIS FACE. And don't ever jump at him >.>. unless you have frame advantage that gives you a safe jump scenario or you know for a fact he will be doing another move that will leave him in lag long enough for your jump to be safe.

"not another OP kung lao thread" thats a very improper title for someone asking a question joke or not probably shouldnt do it since you cant edit titles, and most of the replies in this thread have merely been *****ing about the spin with no real feedback on your question.

therefore whether or not you didnt intend it to be, it is now a whine thread.
 
With the title he had...I thought it was another joke thread like the "Character Color Tier List" lol. I thought it was kinda funny.

Although the thread was some complaining some were asking simple question as to why it does that. For the life of me it simply doesnt make sense for a low not to hit him out of that move. I would say the EX version could have that property. I mean I honestly cant think of another character with a move with that much dominance.

However I did learn a new strategy for that spin aside from baiting it this thread. So it was helpful.
