thats a pretty clever marketing campaign.
Still, gonna be hard to even come close to being worthy of the original. I gotta go watch it again now.
I hope they can find a way to make things look convincing without the overuse of CGI. Original did a good job making everything feel gritty and real for having a somewhat futuristic theme. I hope they can still pull it off.
(wonder if they are gonna film in Dallas again, despite it taking place in Detroit.)

yeah. Chances are this is gonna be a PG-13 movie with micheal bay esque type of filmaking.
Or not, well just have to wait and see.

Fixed because the second one was ridiculous, too. I love the opening where he's driving a shitty Ford Taurus that gets hit by a rocket, flips and he gets out with not even a smudge or soot (let alone dents or scratches) on him. That little kid/drug lord couldn't act for shit, either.

Nice! haha I only watched the first one but hopefully they keep the humor they had and don't make things too serious. I heard it was getting a pg13 rating though so my interest is minimal at this point. The oroginal had over the top gore and was great.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly.
I don't have much hope for this movie, the original is a beast of a classic and cannot be touched. Red Foreman, man. Red. Foreman.
lol Maybe it'll be better than the 2nd and 3rd movie? Doubtful.

Saw this earlier. horrible. I remember a couple years ago when remakes and reboooting was raging. But this has gone too far. Robocop is a classic, do not touch do not want.

Only Michael Bay can do Michael Bay esque filmmaking, though
