I am collecting youtube videos of all of the introductions to all of the Mortal Kombat (fighting) games. Unfortunately, all of them are on there except for MK1 and MK3/UMK3. I was wondering if someone had video files and could upload them to youtube, or even record them from MAME or something and give me the links to them so that my collection will be complete. I've tried searching online for videos of the intros, but there's only so much crap I can look through and I haven't found anything close after 3 hours of searching.

Dude, the reason you cannot find what you're looking for is because they don't exist. Those games including MK2 have no introduction FMV sequences as such. The ones that do have opening sequences are as follows - MK4/Gold, MKDA, MKSM, MKD and MKA. And all of them can be found at various sites including the aforementioned YouTube. If you need any other help, then please don't hesitate to ask. ;-)

Dude, they might not be FMVs but there are definitely openings to MKs 1-T. Remember that cool opening sequence from MKII in the arcades with a shadowy sillouette of Shao Kahn standing over a pleading sillouette of Shang Tsung? I would sit there and watch that for hours when I didn't have any quarters left. But a point of notice, these were not FMVS but a sequence of still images. You can probably find them at MKwarehouse or the such. Or that VG museum.

Of course I remember all of the images from the classic games attract modes and their opening titles. I was the same in the arcades, I never got bored. I would stare at the MK2 cabinet for hours hoping some poor Ditz would throw in some coinage and get his or her ass whipped. 95% of the time that was the case. But he asked - "collecting youtube videos of all of the introductions to all of the Mortal Kombat (fighting) games" As such, there are no videos for the games he mentioned. And everything can be found at MKW or YouTube.

Yeah, that's exctly what I'm talking about... just check out my myspace page and see what I'm talking about... I have the one for MKII, Chief, so you can't say they don't exist. I don't care if they're FMVs or not!

EDIT: No, it CAN'T be found on those sites because I've searched for hours. Just check it out to see what I'm talking about, Chief. I have faith in thee.

MK4's storyline sucked majorly. No buildup. For those who never played MKM, MK4's story had NO meaning. Albeit the MKM storyline was fantastic, it didn't even flow very well into MK4 as they changed Shinnok's character alot. They never even explained in the intro how Shinnok GOT to earthrealm (for your information it was Tanya who escorted them into Edenia claiming they were tourists).

Yeah, it's great reminiscing and all... but can anyone help? I'm sick of my collection not being complete... Damn OCD.

mk4's intro sucks ass and imtoo cautios too see mka's intro for spoilers. but other tha that dude just make em yourself or ask some guy like Ulitimate ryu to animate the images.

I tried to do it, but my capture software sucks. Could someone recommend some good video capture software?
