Need help! How do I Link my account?

Okay so I'm on themortalkombat .com and I want to see my stats.
I'm on PS3 and I do all the necessary steps with generating my Web Kode and putting it in, but I keep getting an error that reads

"There was a problem updating your account."

And thats it, no explanation, no solutions or advice.
 
generating web code? What do you mean by that?

I'm sure it means the webcode card you got in with your game to access online kombat.

2. From the main menu select OPTIONS -> SOCIAL MESSAGING
3. Press Square to generate a WEB KODE
4. WEB KODES expire after 1 hour, but you may generate a new one at anytime

It worked for me. Sure you got it case sensitive?

Should be 8 letters/numbers mixed.


Also the website says you can't link a Xbox account and PS3 account to the same website or something like that.

Did you already link Xbox?
 
No I didn't link an Xbox account, I just made this account today.
You think that has something to do with it?

Maybe I need to wait a while.

I typed that shit it like literally 2 minutes after I saw the webcode.

although I typed it in while I was still logged in to PSN on MK9 btw dunno if that matters.

I just created it(5 minutes ago), to test it for you. that's why I'm on MK9 lol

And yes I can read, My comment was made to let you know you don't have to "wait" long which is what you asked.

And I just added extra info aka me staying logged in on PS3 while activating it on the website. I don't remember seeing you mention you did that.

I tried like six different codes.

I ment online on MK9 at the same time your punching in the codes on the website is what i meant. I know you have to be on MK9 to get the codes lol.

I was saying Getting on MK9 online get code. close out of the game or turn of ps3 ect after you get code vs

What I was saying STAY online on MK9 while the code is on your screen, then go punch it in the website on a computer while STILL online with the code up on PS3.

The website says the code stays active for 1 hour after you hit the button. But I was suggesting even though it probably won't make a difference. To be online for both portions at the same time.

That's all I'm saying.

Nah I'd say you use Styker, Mileena, Kitana, Cage as your main 4, and you got

Smoke, Subzero, Kano, Ermac as secondaries.

The rest are probably random meh picks?


lol you've played alot more games than me lol. Why aren't you a high level boss around these forums?

Stryker and Mileena are my mains.

Johnny is my secondary.

I fool around with Kano and Kitana.

Ermac is just for kicks.

I meant that like, I have a good amount of matches in with almost everyone because although I have mains, I like using the entire cast frequently. I do this for all fighting games except Tekken.

ah ok, this hurts your overall growth with your mains though lol. I mean it's good to learn them at a minor level just so you know how to defend against them. But spreading out your attention as hardcore as you lol. Most of you'rs are atleast 69+ while mine has a lot of 20-30's.

That's hundreds of matches taht could've advanced your main characters lol.

It's all good though I know you're not super cereal with this game. Makes me wonder though how good you could be right now if you put all of your time in just 4 characters only. And learned other characters through matchup experience/watching videos.
 
Well when I first started out it was Mileena, Mileena, Mileena.

Then the lag hit this game so I started not to care.

Then I picked up Stryker and started to use everyone frequently because the lag and KOTH was pissing me off.

Then everything went downhill at some point around when Skarlet came out. Then I completely just said "**** this" lol and stopped trying hard overall.

When the game first came out I was pretty damn good. My Mileena would shut down everyone but as time went on and online got crappier, I just started to lose motivation. Then I got new games and you know the deal.
